Pet Friendly Poodle Day and Parade in Carmel, CA
Poodle Day kicks off with a parade for poodles, poodle mixes, and their human companions followed by other activities at The Crossroads. Afternoon events include off-leash beach play — organized by the Poodle Day Team — a scenic stroll, a hike, or other dog-friendly activities around Carmel. Later that evening, cocktail parties allow the dogs to lounge in style as their human companions gather for drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and conversation.

Pet Friendly DogFest San Diego in San Diego, CA
Whether you have a dog or simply love them, spend the day and celebrate our canine friends and heroes that bring joy to everyone's lives. All funds raised benefit Canine Companions for Independence and their mission of matching assistance dogs with children, adults and veterans with disabilities, free of charge. Everyone is invited for a day of fun, festivities, inspiring speakers, dog demonstrations, music, food and more! This event will also feature a dog-friendly beer & wine tasting garden. Entrance includes ten tastings of your choice from amazing local craft vendors like Pizza Port and Thorn Brewing! Tickets are $25 advance purchase when you register, or may be purchased at DogFest for $30. Please note, only one ticket can be purchased per registration.

Pet Friendly Surf City Surf Dog® Competition in Huntington Beach, CA
This comPETition brings together the community, surFURs, dog lovers, families & pets for a day of fun and "fund"raising at one of Southern California's most pristine beaches - Huntington Dog Beach! Individual surFURS will compete in either Weight-Based or Shredder heats.

Pet Friendly Annual Haute Dog Howl'oween Parade in Long Beach, CA
Justin Rudd and his Community Action Team host one of the biggest Halloween pet events in the world! The parade is expected to include a few hundred kids and adults in costumes, followed by more than 450 costumed dogs with handlers. A few thousand human gawkers will line the parade route, including a panel of distinguished judges that will choose a few dozen human and canine costume winners. Haute Dogs will raise thousands for spay/neuter programs, adoption/rescue groups, Operation Santa Paws and other Long Beach service projects. There will also be vendors and a pet adoption fair. Parade is at 2:30 PM. Co-sponsored by Third District Councilwoman Suzie Price and Raising Cane's.
