Pet Friendly Jeep Cruise-ins
Jeep Cruise-ins Bring Fido out in any model of Jeep for this fun evening! This event will be held on the third Wednesday of each month from April through September. Each month there will be some extra entertainment planned and special parking will be planned. Look for the York Automotive Jeep in the area next to Lenscrafters. Bark in the Park with the Indianapolis Indians Fido can join you for a baseball game this season! You and your friendly, leashed dog's tickets grant you access to the right and center field lawns. Dog tickets must be purchased in advance and waiver accepted to enter the stadium. Fans with two or more dogs must have an additional adult owner accompanying the second canine. See Details
Saturday at Switchyard Dog Park Buddy Meetup Calling all canine companions under 40 pounds, including Boston Terriers and French Bulldogs, for a fun day at the dog park! The small dog side is just over 2 acres, giving ample room for Fido and his friends to run and play. Please note that there is a significant walk from the parking lot to the dog park, but it's on a level, paved path. The space includes lots of seating options as well as waste stations for easy clean up. See Details
Free Microchip Clinic Put your mind at ease with a microchip implantation for your pup! You can visit the Humane Society of St. Joseph County or the South Bend Animal Resource Center. While microchipping is free of charge, donations of $10 per pet are encouraged from those who can afford it. Implants are on a first come/first serve basis, while supplies last. FIDO Flea Market This shopping event takes place in the warehouse parking lot where guests will find new and gently-used pet supplies at low prices. All proceeds benefit FIDO programs! See Details
South Bend Cubs Paws & Claws Nights Bring Fido to a baseball game this season at one of the special Paws & Claws Nights with the South Bend Cubs. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome to attend certain games throughout the season. Paws & Claws Nights will occur on April 23, May 7, May 21, June 4, June 18, July 23, August 6, August 20 and August 27. Those attending with a dog will be required to sign a waiver at the gate. Frühlingsfest Celebrate the Spring season with Fido at the "spring sister festival" to Oktoberfest! Celebrate with German beer releases, German food specials, live music, and more. Dirndls and Lederhosen are encouraged. The beer garden will be open with outdoor games. Participants must have a valid ID and be 21 or over. See Details
Junk in the Trunk Fido can help you sniff out unique finds and other treasures at this community rummage sale. Bring your leashed pup out for a day of browsing a variety of items including furniture, household goods, boys, clothing and so much more at this yard sale style event with numerous vendors. Dog and Cat Vaccination Clinic Bring your pet out to get updated vaccinations at this low cost vaccination clinic for dogs and cats. Dog vaccines range from $15-$30 per vaccine, while cat vaccines range from $15-$25 per vaccine. Heartworm testing, feline leukemia testing, nail trims and microchipping are also provided for an additional fee. Heartworm and flea & tick prevention will be sold at discounted rates. Bark in the Park 5k Run/Walk Leash up your friendly pup and lace up your running shoes for this fun event benefitting the animals of Ark Animal Rescue & Adoption! Event day registration opens at 11:30 AM and the 5k run/walk begins at 12:30 PM. The event will also feature prizes, doggie goodie bags and a BBQ food truck with delicious items for purchase. Brown County Humane Society's SPOT Rabies Vaccination Clinic Bring your cat and dog out to get updated vaccines at this drive-thru vaccination clinic. This event is only open to residents of Brown County, Indiana. Your pet can get an updated rabies vaccine, a nail trim and a microchip at this event. All dogs must be leashed and cats must be in a secure and appropriate carrier. All services are on a first come, first served basis. Only cash will be accepted as payment. Please remain in your vehicle and follow the directions of event coordinators and volunteers. See Details
Tri-State Antique Market The market is a pet-friendly event in the greater Cincinnati area. Featured in Midwest Living, Country Homes, Cincinnati Magazine, Antique Trader, Antique Week, and Indianapolis Monthly Magazine. Averaging nearly 3,000 shoppers each month: truly “Indiana’s largest antiques & vintage only Market!” All merchandise is required to be at least 30 years old & out of production. Paws for a Cause 5K Run and Strut your Mutt 1M Walk Show off your dog as you run/walk in the 5k race or 1-mile walk and take part in the adjoining Dogapalooza activities by Elkhart County Parks. Both courses are looped trails and awards will be given to qualifying humans immediately after the 5k race. Check-in begins at 9:30 AM. The 5k starts at 10:30 AM and the 1-mile walk begins at 11:30 AM. Registration for both the run and the walk includes a t-shirt. Dogs must be leashed throughout the event and retractable leashes are not permitted. See Details
