Canine To Five Pack Walk Take a guided walk with your pup along the Detroit Riverfront. Pack walks will start and end at Valade Park and include a ten minute break at the halfway point. 5k Beer Run x Munchies Run Run, jog or just take a stroll with your canine friend at this event! Once you cross the finish line, you'll receive a craft brew from Dragonmead Brewery, a choice of a collector’s pint glass or seasonal swag item from the Brewery Running Series, a chance to win sweet door prizes, and access to event festivities like live music, games, goodies and giveaways. Funtown Chowdown Food Truck Festival Bring Fido along and treat yourself and your family to excellent food, beer, and family fun the second Thursday of each month (May-September). The festival will feature will feature around 20 trucks from across Michigan with a variety of cuisine and desserts, live music, craft beer and more. The fun takes place in the parking lot east of the shopping complex. See Details
Bark for the Park This free event features local pet vendors and food trucks like Dune Buggy and Underground Cookie Club. Activities include a pet craft station, photo booth, dog agility course, and a doggy fashion show, promising a fun-filled day for both humans and their furry companions. Frankenmuth Dog Bowl The world's largest Olympic style festival for dogs featuring lots of high-energy activities for the pups like running, jumping, diving, and retrieving! The Dog Bowl includes events you can watch and events that Fido can compete in! Activities include dock and disc dog competitions, sheep herding demonstrations, wiener dog races, a pet costume parade and so much more. The Annual Canine Cruise and nightly Balloon Glows in the River Place Shops field also happens this weekend. There is free parking and admission, although some activities require a separate fee. Bark on Biddle Shop, drink, and play with your dog at this fun-filled festival! The three-day event will be held on the riverfront (just off Oak Street, east of Biddle Avenue) and a grass section of Bishop Park. A variety of pet related vendors will be selling doggy fashion, unique toys, homemade items, and sampling dog food and treats to four-legged attendees.
