Open Mic Night Everyone is invited to display their talents at this weekly event hosted by Deb Aronin. Furry friends are welcome to join their owners in watching comedy, music, poetry, ventriloquism and other skills in this judgment-free space. Registration is at 6:30 PM, and the open mic starts at 7:00 PM. See Details
Biltmore Blooms - Tulips & Spring Flowers Celebrate Spring with Fido with a visit to the Biltmore Estate to view the spectacular display of colorful blooms. The grounds are perfect for walking your pets, but please keep them securely leashed at all times. Dogs are not permitted inside any buildings, but are allowed on the outdoor patios of Bistro and Cedric’s Tavern for dining. See Details
Bark in the Park with Durham Bulls Bring Fido out to the ball game! This event continues throughout the summer so you can keep the fun rolling. Each dog needs their own Bark in the Park ticket. Seating will be in sections 128, 130, 132, 134 and the lawn. Volunteers will be on hand to watch your pup should you need to briefly leave these areas. Dogs are not allowed in any other area of the ballpark. All dogs must be current on their vaccinations. These games will be busy and the weather might be warm. Please ensure your dog is comfortable in these conditions before planning to attend the event. Dogs must be leashed at all times; no retractable leashes. See Details
Music in the Gardens Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome to join their owners at this weekly event. Attendees can sip on specialty cocktails, play lawn games, and listen to live music from local artists while enjoying a relaxing evening. Guests may bring their own food, but outside drinks aren't permitted. See Details
Paws for a Purpose at Stone Ashe Vineyards Bring Fido to the vineyard for a relaxing afternoon and good cause! $1 from every bottle of wine sold this week will be donated to Blue Ridge Humane Society. They’ll also be collecting pet food donations and host a special event on Friday, April 19th, with celebrity, social media influencer pups! Leashed dogs are welcome outside. Bocce Ball Tournament at Sideways Farm & Brewery Bring your favorite partner and your pup out for some friendly competition and support a great cause! All entry monies will be donated to Blue Ridge Humane Society. Tournament explanation and rules start at 1:00 PM and there's a prize for the winning team! Game is played rain or shine. Tuck Fest at U.S. National Whitewater Center Bring Fido to this multi-day festival that celebrates the outdoor lifestyle through competitions, exhibitions, demos, and live music! Pets must be leashed at all times. The festival features a variety of outdoor competitions that include trail running, kayaking, biking, climbing, stand-up paddleboarding, obstacle, and adventure racing. See Details
EarthWise Pet Grand Opening EarthWise Pet is hosting a grand opening weekend celebration and Fido is invited! Throughout the weekend you and your pup can enjoy pet-friendly activities, 20% off products, discounts on grooming, free gifts, free raffle tickets and more. Cider, Wine & Dine Weekend This event features Henderson County wineries and cideries partnering together to create a signature event. It will be an action-packed weekend filled with artisan hard cider, award-winning wines, a variety of food, educational programs, live music, facility tours and more. Please note that most of the participating venues are dog friendly but it's best to call ahead to confirm. Many events are free. Bark in the Park Bring your pup with you to enjoy a Greensboro Grasshoppers baseball game! Sunbrella Hill is reserved for dog owners and their pets, with product samples and activities for both dogs and owners. To ensure everyone's safety, all dogs must be leashed and remain in specifically designated pet-friendly areas. See their website for more information! Open Mic Comedy Nights with Craig Collin Well-behaved, leashed pups are invited to this recurring event where professionals and amateurs alike can show off their comedic skills. Attendees will sit back and unwind while sipping on a delicious craft beer and having some laughs.
