Air Travel with Dog in Cargo Hold
Does anyone have any advice for travelling with a dog in the cargo hold
from Toronto to Victoria BC? Our dog is a bichon-poode cross who is too
big to travel in the cabin so has to go in the cargo hold flying this June, 2012 direct from Toronto Pearson to Victoria BC. I am worried if the area where they place live animals will not be pressurized or temperature controlled enough so that my dog won't freeze or die of heat exhaustion or
die due to lack of oxygen. Has anyone ever travelled this route with their
dog in the hold and is there any advice you can offer to help make it a
smooth stress free flight for my dog. Thank you.

Hi there, I came across this post today (july 8, 2013) and wondered how you dog did during the flight as I'm doing the same route. Would you please let me know? Thanks!
