Daytona Beach Florida, dog friendly beach

looking for a beach that allows dogs during the day, near or in Daytona beach, we went to Flagler beach today, awesome Pet friendly beach, North of 11th av, on A1A, but its closer to home to go to Daytona. I also wondered if there was a dog friendly beach that had lifeguards, as Flagler dog beach doesn't.. scary with our rip currents.. thanks for the help.
