Visiting Biltmore Estate with pet Poodle

My husband and I are planning to visit the Biltmore Estate. We have a 5lb. toy poodle that travels with us. I would like information from someone who has visited the estate with their pet. Is it truly pet friendly? If we need to leave our pet in the kennels, are they readily available? It says on the website, their is a limited number. Are the kennels in a safe area? It also says they are unsupervised. Would really like to know from someone with first hand experience. Thanks.
