Pit Bull Friendly Hotel on the West Coast of Florida

My husband and I are going over to the west coast of Florida next and for obvious reasons having a hard finding a hotel that would allow a Pit Bull. We are looking for a place between Sarasota and Fort Meyers, preferably on or close to the beach. If anyone has some suggestion I would appreciate it.
