Brevard County Animal Services is in crisis. There are a number of serious issues needing attention including the unnecessary euthanizing of healthy dogs and cats. When brought to the attention of the County Commission their response was to eliminate the Advisory Board that oversees the shelter and exposed the issues. There is and important Brevard County Commission meeting on Oct 22nd to address the matter of eliminating the Advisory Board. We need all the support we cab get to improve the facilities and make sure as many animals as possible get a second chance.
