dogs aren't things

This thread title makes me think of dogs being a thing but they aren't. And according to the research, most of the dogs aren't lost but are left simply because we humans are got tired or bored of taking care of them. And this is an irresponsible thing to do. I do hope those who aren't ashamed of doing it will get what they deserve.
