Sanibel Pet Friendly Places plus vet, etc.

Will be on Sanibel with my golden retriever for several weeks this winter. Where are dogs welcome (I know Island Cow is one with an outdoor patio)? Beaches are said to be dog friendly.

Can anyone recommend a good vet for emergencies?

Also, a boarding facility for one night when I must be away.
