We come to Cannon Beach every year for vacation with our dogs because this is one of the most dog friendly places we have ever visited. HOWEVER, there has recently been a "bad apple" over the last couple of years. Last year (2014) we made the error of walkining up Jefferson Street East of S Hemlock. Therin lives the world's biggest dog hating witch. She sits just inside her balcony door just waiting, much like a trapdoor spider, to pounce and yell at the first dog she sees. Even if you are on the other side of the street she will yell at your dogs and make threatening comments like"yeah you better keep moving." This woman apparently had a "bad experience" at some point in her life and now has nothing better to do that be a horrible old bat. If you come to Cannon Beach I either warn you to stay away form this lady or encourage you to educate her thatball dogs are not the spawn of the devil.
