Red Roof Inn or La Quinta

Anyone have a favorite dog friendly hotel south of Louisville? Anywhere we should avoid?

Red Roof or La Quinta?

La Quintas are, generally, a better hotel; cleaner, quieter, more up do date, and a hot breakfast. Red Roof, while improving is cheaper in price and lacks most of the previously mentioned qualities. If you get a recently remodeled Red Roof, they are fine. The older ones are a disaster.
