Lack of access to nature

I live about an hour from Mont Tremblant and wanted to go for a hike there with my lab. This town that is listed by Bring Fido as one of the best vacation spots in Canada doesn't allow dogs to hike on the ski mountain, the bike path or in the provincial (national) park. The closest attraction listed (a very nice one) is over 25 miles away. Mont Tremblant doesn't seem like a great vacation spot for Fido to me.
