Beach closed to dogs from 9:00 am to 6:00 from June to September. Hotel does not allow dogs to be left in room unattended, so makes it difficult for you to enjoy the beach. No pet area within hotel. They charge $100 for pet fee it should cater a little more to our furry family. Nice location that's about the only positive.

Our room was way overpriced, with stained, buckled carpeting, tiny bathroom, and needing lots of TLC, but a great view. We went to meet friends for dinner and when we got back, our bathroom was flooded. The hotel offered to clean and fix it, but I was not happy and made it known, so they did move us to a nicer, more updated room, that evening. We had to use an uncomfortable rollaway for one of the kids as this room did not have 2 queens for the 3 of us, but given that everything else about the room was better, I did not complain. So, I give it a 3 because customer service was great - they were quick to address the problem - but it was incredibly overpriced for the room we were given. I have to say, I was thankful our bathroom flooded even though it meant moving 2 kids and a dog at 10:00 - their bedtime. Beach is great, and everyone there is nice, but it needs some upgrading.

This was the worst example of deceptive marketing I’ve ever experienced. They present themselves as an upscale boutique resort but it’s actually just an old cheap motel. The walls are so thin you can literally hear your neighbors peeing. It sounds like they are in the room with you. And there are noisy trucks outside at 6am every day. It’s close to a runoff drain that smells like fish all the time, and the combination of that with the new carpet smell was pretty bad. They doubled the pet fee but didn’t update the website or any of the materials and they were very rude and snippy when we questioned it. They tried to charge us an extra day of valet even after we informed them that we took it out and parked on the street. The room was barely furnished. Two beds, a nightstand and a small chair in the corner. That’s it. The tv on the wall had cords running down and the rest was completely bare. No table, no dresser, no decor. Nothing like the photos on the website. And when we mentioned that the guy argued with us that it was the same decor as the website photos even when we confronted him with proof. It was like he could see furniture that we couldn’t. They made no accommodation for us whatsoever and in fact made efforts to nickel and dime us for extra costs (see above). It was so bad we almost couldn’t be mad... it started to get funny. I can’t not recommend this place enough... the location is good I guess but during the summer you can’t even have your dog on the beach so not sure if even that is enough to risk it.
