  Great Accommodations

  Comfortable and well appointed room. Our dog has been living with leukemia for over a year now and after that diagnosis he became a traveling pet so booking pet friendly hotels are new to us. Really appreciated in-house dining after 13 hours on the road and the food was good in addition to having Starbucks coffee and breakfast items in the morning so we could get on the road without any additional stops. The only downside was the loud conversations going on outside our door during the night. We would certainly return.

  Super staff and accommodations

  Drove in from Texas with my large dog Sombra. We found the Aloft welcoming in all aspects. Everything we needed for a two day rest was there and a dog park nearby. Will probably try to book for my return trip.

  Very dog friendly!

  Everyone here was very friendly and kind. You could tell they love animals. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There’s a bar and you can order food late. The only negative was that the pool wasn’t heated. We let the front desk know and she said that was strange.

  A Lot of Little Things

  We usually stay in an airbnb when we stop in Tallahassee to see our daughter but, with all the extra fees that go along with them and the fact that you never really know what you're getting, we decided to look at pet-friendly hotels. Aloft stood out for a couple of reasons. Great location, super reviews, and NO PET FEE! I realize I'm still actually paying for my dog when I book the room, but being charged separately makes me feel like I'm being punished for bringing him. The room itself was basic, but still very nice. I was disappointed that there was only decaf in the room when I a got up the next morning, but that might have just been an oversight on housekeeping's part. Down in the lobby, though, there was a Starbucks where you can buy coffee - and also a separate little complimentary coffee station set up at the lobby bar offering FREE coffee with FREE hot tea! It's the little things and we can't wait to visit again.

  Best hotel when traveling with your dog!

  Extremely good value! We were very pleasantly surprised by the size of the room, and how nice it was. The downstairs bar/lounge area was cheerful and bustling. Everybody welcomed our Golden Retriever. She was even given a welcome gift bag when we arrived! The location was beautiful and very walkable. And last, but not least, the in-house grill made the best cheeseburger and onion rings!

  They made my dogs feel welcome with a small gift. Great room, just wish they had a microwave in the room. No ice on the floor. Had to get ice in the lobby. The fridge in the room was not cleaned out from the last guest (gross).

  Great stay!

  This was the most dog friendly hotel we've ever stayed in, even let out boys sit in the bar with us! They got goody bags too!! The hotel in modern and very nice but being downtown there is street noise and late night corridor activities too so pack ear plugs for your stay. Staff were exceptional!

  We always stop here on our road trips. Staff are nice and welcome your pup with a little treat bag including milk bones, poop bags, and a mini frisbee.

  Pet Friendly!

  If your pup is fine with elevators this is a great choice! It is walking distance to a local park and small dog park on Park Street! They foster puppies too right in the lobby. Dog bowl with water and bones at the entrance too.

  Perfect

  The location is great. Staff were all friendly and accommodating. Room was very clean. And we were able to bring our dog Kylo, without a pet fee. Oh, and the cafe was very nice with reasonable prices.

  Nice dog park a few blocks away in addition to the small grassy area in the parking lot. Dog friendly restaurants within walking distance too.

  Love this place

  Room was nice and clean, restaurant food was delicious. Pool area was a decent size with lounge chairs and games. Dogs were given goody bags which is so nice. If ever in Tallahassee again, will stay here again

  Awesome stay!

  Everything was awesome!! Staff, atmosphere, cleanliness was great. Food was delicious. Hotel is located in prime downtown area, close to many restaurants etc. Hotel was perfect for our family that included 2 dogs and a toddler! We will definitely be back!

  Pet Friendly not People Friendly

  The staff at the hotel was very friendly and everyone was pleasant regarding our two dogs, but the hotel itself was not great. First room the toilet didn’t flush properly and the fridge didn’t work. They switched us to another room and the shower didn’t drain properly there. Overall it was a fine experience for the dogs but I expected a little better for the price paid.

  The hotel is in a great location with plenty of parking. Love the decor and room amenities. It had everything we needed for our stay with our two pups. Bed was super comfortable. The TV was a bit dark but overall highly recommend!

  Had a great stay with our 2 Border Collies, hotel had no dog restrictions and no fee for the dogs! They even had a bed in the room for them.

  This was a wonderful hotel!

  Usually pet friendly hotels keep you in designated rooms, this one did not. I had booked two rooms, one for my parents, and they were adjoining. It was quiet, it was incredibly clean and absolutely above and beyond friendly. I had never heard of The Aloft brand before booking this room, but I will be looking for any to stay at in our travels in the future.

  Great location, clean rooms and Decent meals. Aloft is the only hotel where my doggy and us can have a comfortable rest. Greatly recommended when traveling with dogs.

  The rooms are small and compact but they have everything you need and more. It was perfect for me and my pets and close to everything I needed.

  Just nice

  I was a nice stay. however the lights on my room didn’t work properly. I was not able to turn on only the bathroom light without tuning on ALL the room lights ... not convenient

  Good not Great

  Location was great and the pet accommodations were just okay for us. No goodie bag at check in, hotel was a bit swamped and our room was rundown. Not the worst, but certainly not the best. Would stay again but hotel need some updates.

  We enjoyed this place so much that we booked there again in the way back from our road trip. Daisy was treated so well from the treat bag at arrival to tha staff giving her extra attention.

  Noisy

  Nice all around but do to Deco it made it noisy in hall, doors closing etc leaked into the room
  Also we were in one of the three rooms were there were flags mounted outside and all night long I heard noises like loud elevators or something and it wasn’t until morning we realized that it was the hardware and poles blowing in the heavy wind
  But very dog friendly

  Great Staff but Not So Great Rooms

  We had a smell issue in our first room so we're moved with no problem (thanks to the great staff!) but then there was a false fire alarm around 7AM, which wasn't great to wake up to especially with a dog. Otherwise, they provided Lola with a goody bag and let her hang out with us for dinner and drinks so really pet friendly!

  Great stay. Cannot day enough about Aloft. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, large shower, responsive customer service and They loved on our dogs. We were met with treats, water and a lot of petting. We will be back.

  Fabulous Pet Friendly Hotel

  I can’t say enough great things about this place. Cayman got so much attention here. Treats are everywhere! He even got a gift when we checked in. It had a toy, treats, and poop bags. There are even per friendly restaurants that was great and walking distance from here too. We will absolutely be back!

  Stayed here for one night while touring FSU for my daughter. Everyone was extremely friendly, pool and outdoor area was nice. Our pup enjoyed her stay as well !
  Will definitely stay again ! Hats off to staff and co for bringing in shelter dogs to get adopted out ! Amazing help in the community I’m sure 😊
