We stayed at the La Quinta in Edmond with our 50 lb dog one night while on a cross-country road trip. The hotel was clean and nice, rooms were spacious and well-appointed, and the front-desk staff was friendly and helpful. A great value and just what we needed.

We ended up booking most of our stays while traveling cross country with our Bassett hound Roxy because we could always count on them for high quality and welcoming accommodations for our dog. La Quinta is a hotel you can count on!

I was one of 4 or 5 people waiting to check in. Theresa worked quickly and was very nice and welcoming! The room was spacious for us and our 2 dogs. There was a dog relief area with bags and trash can towards the entrance. This was an overnight stop on our way back to Arizona.

The hotel was fine for the pooch and no issues with the staff. My main concern was the relative lack of green on the hotel property. There was some adjacent but it was not obvious that it wasn't trespassing.

Overall, our experience was ok. As others have said, the front desk personnel don’t wear masks and some patrons don’t and aren’t asked to either. Yesterday, Oklahoma hit new highs with case numbers, so that is a concern.
When I checked in the clerk asked me to pay the pet fee in cash. I declined and she said the credit card machine was down. I politely asked what they would do when others came in and she said she would try it. It worked fine.
The outside pet area was close and fairly nice.
The bed was quite comfortable. The puppy found someone’s pill on the floor but I was able to get it from her quickly. Otherwise the room was clean. The furniture was snagged but I understand we were in a pet friendly room.

ok for the price, but not the cleanest hotel I have stayed in and room was outdated. Desk staff did not wear masks and there was no real COVID protection (as many other hotels make a point of doing). Room was spacious - dogs liked having the pull out couch to stay on at night. convenient to interstate.

We visit Edmond often, and when we do, stay here so our family dog can join us. While the grounds are sufficient for dog walking — watch for the stickers!! — I have also enjoyed taking our pup for safe walks across the street into a couple of different neighborhoods, picking up messes as we go (!!) and talking to neighborhood residents. The hotel makes this very convenient. The hotel is quiet, respectful, and we appreciate bringing our pup her 1 to 2 times a year.

Clean, updated, great service. The king bed was super comfortable. As others have stated watch out for burrs off property where the walking path is. Took me a minute to figure out why she was walking strangely.
