Description
Want to get away from the rush? You can at this campground set in Florida's orange grove country on the shores of a spring-fed lake with a white sandy beach. Lake Hancock is also known for great fishing. The campground offers a number of planned activities. It's a large facility with 850 campsites with full utility hookups as well as several cabins, and is within driving distance of amusement parks and other attractions.

Dog friendly campground. We are members of Thousand Trials and there was no charge for dogs. The sites in lower part, near the lake are more private and a nice area to walk the dog. Lake front is dog friendly, but I would not recommend allowing your dog to swim because of alligators. Dogs must be leashed.
