    Our genuine log cabin is nestled in the heart of the Great Smoky Mountains between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, just off the 441 spur. The semi-secluded cabin sits almost at the top of a mountain, giving a sensational view and a simply heavenly feel. Yet within 10-15 minutes, you can be at any of the major attractions of the Smokies. The log cabin was built by the renown photographer of the Smoky Mountains, James Thurston. Its suite-like floor plan with large rooms containing open beamed cathedral ceilings, along with a warm, cozy decor make it the perfect cabin for a family of six or two couples. Each bedroom has its own attached bath. You don't have to leave behind your four legged family members either. Sunset View is Pet Friendly! A large Pet Porter is stored in the lower level closet to be used when the family wants to go out for the evening, yet be sure the family canine or feline will be safe, as well as the cabin.
