It is, in many ways, your home away from home.
Secluded among a grove of tall trees, the Water Mill Towd Retreat features a brand-new, in-ground heated pool. The property’s back porch spills onto a large, well-manicured lawn—great for backyard barbecues that begin with grilling burgers and end with chasing fireflies.
This four-bedroom, two-bathroom home is lovingly maintained and sleeps seven guests – the ideal setup for a family or a small group of friends. A generous sitting area with a fireplace and an open floor plan between the kitchen and dining room make it easy for casual conversation while catching up over a refreshing summer cocktail…or a toasty drink on a rainy afternoon. Though the basement isn’t finished, feel free to wander downstairs: here you’ll find pool and ping-pong tables to play while you wait for the rain to clear.
Though you may feel far removed during your stay at the Water Mill Towd Retreat, its prime setting is, in fact, conveniently located in the heart of The Hamptons. Less than two miles from your front step, you’ll find restaurants, shops and other diversions, and only a few more miles away you’ll find the area’s famous beaches and bays.

Pool Disclaimer: Due to the climate of the northeastern U.S., outdoor pools and attached hot tubs will typically only be available for use from Memorial Day to Labor Day. If your booking falls outside of that time frame and you intend to use the pool/hot tub, please be sure to inquire if they will be available for use prior to booking.
Off-Season Disclaimer: It is typical that spring cleanings and updates do not take place until late April / early May. If your booking falls outside of Memorial Day to Labor Day, please inquire as to whether or not outdoor furniture and equipment will be available for use prior to booking.
Payment/Refund Policy: All payments are non-refundable, unless stated otherwise. If renter must cancel the reservation, Marquis will re-list availability, and in the event Marquis is able to re-book the nights renter originally booked, a refund may be processed. We strongly encourage renter to purchase travelers insurance (which Marquis offers) as a means of payment protection. Please note that all bookings must be paid in full prior to arrival.
StayProtected Insurance: Property damage insurance is procured for your reservation for this property. It is supplemental to, not a replacement to, any security deposit collected.
While StayMarquis manages this listing, the guest experience is managed by the owner of this property, meaning all property preparation, arrival coordination, in-stay communication, and requests for maintenance tasks are performed by the owner. However, StayMarquis will provide you with a "Guest Experience Manager" who can help facilitate any request, from grocery shopping to organizing a private chef.
