    green ROCKS inn really rocks!

My German Shepherd, Odin, and I have stayed here on 2 separate visits to Smith Ridge vets. Barbara and Natacha made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Odin is an elderly dog, 13, and he has a number of medical issues and they went out of their way to accomodate him. I really appreciated that they were geniunely concerned for Odin and me. They even fixed us a great "doggie" bag of snacks for the 12.5 hour drive back to Kentucky. Extremely clean, safe, and convenient to Smith Ridge. The ONLY place I will stay when we have to go back!

    The Best Pet-Friendly Accommodations

We stayed at the Green Rocks Inn while our precious pug Grolsch received treatment at the Smith Ridge Veterinary Center and we absolutely loved our stay. The hosts Barbara and Natacha were so very welcoming and as other reviewers have noted, they showed such concern and encouragement for our pup's well-being that it provided huge comfort to us! The inn is absolutely beautiful and stunningly kept. Most notably, the inn is immaculately clean and is THE cleanest pet-friendly accommodations we have ever seen. We highly recommend the Green Rocks Inn to anyone who must travel to access the treatments at Smith Ridge and also anyone traveling to Ridgefield, CT in general. We also highly recommend the wonderful breakfast menu the inn provides in addition to an already impressive complimentary breakfast. The delicious meals we had on those mornings of our stay provided us with the fuel we needed to sit with our Boy at Smith Ridge during treatments. The Green Rocks Inn provides the best pet-friendly accommodations, all paws down!

    Green Rocks ROCKS!

We first found the Green Rocks Inn when looking for a place to stay near Smith Ridge Veterinary, where our sweet boy Honey was to receive treatment. When googling the area for a dog-friendly accomodation, I'm sure I was also looking for someplace "organic" or "green" (as usual), so I was very happy to find Green Rocks, which certainly fit the bill. Long story short, we stayed in Barbara and Natacha's beautiful home twice in the span of about a month. After each long day of worrying about our Basset, we came home to a stress-free environment and two new friends that showed all three of us endless kindness and hospitality. The inn offers privacy and serenity, is immaculately clean, the hosts are incredibly welcoming, and breakfast is delicious. Maxie, the canine innkeeper, is adorable, sweet, and well-behaved. Rachel, Honey, and I couldn't have found a better place to stay, and we look forward to returning to Green Rocks again.

    A special B & B

I stayed at the GreenRocks Inn with my pup Jana who was having some oral surgery at Smith Ridge Vet Ctr. Jana is 12 and I had some concerns and reservations about putting her under aesthesia. From the first moment I spoke with Barbara on the phone I knew that I would be staying at a place that was special. She was warm, caring and compassionate on the phone when I made me reservations. My actual experience there was equally, if not more, wonderful. First off, the house is beautiful, immaculate and has a wonderful energy. This energy is most certainly created by these lovely two Innkeepers, Natacha and Barbara (and the canine Innkeeper, Maxie). I was so happy to spend time with these ladies, have them give love to my Jana and to have the priviledge of the support they gave to me when I was feeling worried about my puppy girl. This is truly a wonderful place to stay for ALL people and, in particular, for the dog lover. A bonus for me, as a Certified Health Coach, was that they share my own green living philosophy. Another reviewer posted a subject line "Home away from home". I couldn't agree more, I felt like a welcomed family member. Wonderful people, wonderful Inn, wonderful experience!

    Home away from home

I recently stayed at Green Rocks Inn while my beloved Pug was being treated by the phenomenal vets at Smith Ridge. Natacha and Barbara truly went above and beyond to make our stay as wonderful as possible. Their kindness and concern for Bubba's welfare was heartwarming and the amenities that Green Rocks Inn offers such as the filtered water and purified air meant that it was the very best place for Bubba to be. Their Weimaraner, Maxie, is a wonderfully well-behaved sweet girl and her presence added comfort and warmth to the Inn. Whats more, it's clear that she is well cared for and that Barbara and Natacha have a passion for providing excellent care for canines. If you are traveling with your four-legged family member, you simply must stay here. No other facility comes even close to how fabulous this place is!
