    Great place!

Just spent the weekend here with my husband, two kids, and our English bulldog. Everyone had a great time and we're already planning to go back next year. Lots of campgrounds are "pet friendly" but many I looked at wouldn't let the dog off the campsite. Based on other reviews from pet owners we gave this place a try. This place truly is pet friendly. There are a few areas off limits to dogs, which is to be extremely expected (pool, office, dining area, playground). But, everywhere else they were permitted. We were able to take our girl for ice cream, walking anywhere around the campground, in and along the river. She even went tubing down the river. Our girl is like one of our kids and finding a place where she could be included was exactly what we were looking for. Aside from that, the campground is very clean and well maintained. They're also family oriented and you don't have loud people partying all hours of the night. Plenty of bathrooms and showers and plenty to keep everyone entertained, even my 16 ye old.

    Really great campground

Hidden Acres was a really fun campground, for my family and Clementine. Clemmie wants to do everything we do, and this campground is great about that. She was allowed to go tubing in the river with us, walk around the campground, and a bunch more.

There are a few areas (such as the Gathering Place where you can buy breakfast/lunch/dinner and snacks, and the check-in/store) that are off limits to dogs, but the majority of the camp is open to dogs and very dog friendly!

    No pit bulls or Rottweilers!!

Very upset. This place seemed absolutely perfect.. call to make my reservation, start giving them my info, and then they ask what kind of dog do I have; I have a sweet bully pit, such a big baby, but I called her a Staffordshire terrier because I had a feeling I knew where this was going. They don’t take any dog that even looks like a Rottweiler or pit bull!! So absolutely unfair!!
