First time staying at a hotel with our dog so we don’t have much to compare to. The hotel is clean and concierge staff were very nice. The rooms have barely stocked kitchenettes which we didn’t need; seem better place for remote workers of whom we saw many here. We were given a 2nd floor room which wasn’t ideal when having to take Bowie to potty. I will not be staying here again.

We were on the 3rd floor for a return trip from Florida to Ontario. Room was nice; full mini kitchen, updated bathroom-newer tub, sink etc. Huge desk area. Kitchen area was lacking in plates, cutlery, frying pan, only 2 spoons. Really nice stair area to use instead of elevators. Doors to the outside required room key to get in. Dog walk area was fine. Would stay again. Large room, large Bathroom. Customer service was excellent and very friendly. Coffee was awful both in room and in lobby. Would prefer no carpet at all in the rooms - there was carpet in beds area. Far better than other hotel we stayed at on way down. Great stay overall!

Everything about staying here worked out wonderfully! I love the spacious room. Front desk staff was very accommodating. The 'supply room' in the lobby very helpful. Ease and closeness of dog relief area was great.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The parking lot was not well lit and they had signs everywhere (more than usually posted at other hotels) stating to lock your car and take your valuables with you. When we got to our room, there was a loud gathering outside of our window that we were told would end at 10:30. That would have been fine, but it didn't end. It got louder. Our request to change rooms was ignored because they said they were shutting it down. They didn't. When we finally had enough we we went down to the front desk to check out. We were then told it was a holiday weekend so the party was allowed to continue until midnight and that it was ok now because they turned the music off (which they didn't).
When we requested a refund we were told that they couldn't give us one, to have a nice day and then he reminded us again that it was holiday weekend. We travel a great deal and have never experienced anything like this before. The manager was supposed to call us today but we still haven't heard from anyone. The gentleman at the front desk was more concerned about talking to his friend/guest then trying to help us. They both just stared at us like we were in the wrong.

We stayed on a Saturday night while visiting friends In Mooresville. The room was large, well appointed and clean. The dog walking area was narrow and small but clean and well lit. The back door was exit only so we had to walk around to the front of the property to re-enter after our walk. Our two flat-coated retrievers adapted to the hotel quickly with no issues. Other dogs were on other floors or far enough away that there wasn’t a barking issue. We will stay here again for our next visit.

Not a great location (bottom of hill bordering main road) for extended walks , but they do have designated area for pets out back. Small pet fee. Rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. Staff was accommodating of pets. Overall a decent choice if needed.

This was my first time using BringFido to locate a hotel room for me to stay at with my fur-baby. it didn’t smell like dog which was great, very clean, had enough towels, great doggie area. The hotel also allowed big and small dogs and you really didn’t hear any barking at all

Dogs of all sizes are welcome here and lots of them stay at this hotel. Rooms are adequate and have full refrigerators, hot plates & microwaves for extended stays. Would recommend.

Checked in, not sure since I have never stayed at this chain before - was very pleasantly surprised by their operation. Extremely easy to deal with and the suite style layout with the extra room was very beneficial. Will stay again.

The hotel was clean enough, service desk employees were great, felt like they were true animals lovers as they greeted my dog. We had a nice stay. I recommend this place, but if you're looking for a fancy hotel that allows pets, that is not this place.

Had a great stay the other night on our drive back home to Canada from Florida. Friendly staff to humans and dogs alike. Clean, fresh, spacious rooms. Dedicated place to walk our furry son after a long day in the car, complete with pick up baggies. Very quiet as well, and a close drive to food. Would stay there again for sure!

I selected this hotel based on other recommendations but I did not enjoy my stay there and certainly not for the price.
I needed a place to stay and rest with my dog during a lengthy road trip. The good part is they put us on the first floor by a door but that also meant that late into the night (12:30AM, 1:30 AM) we heard people coming in from the side door that was by our room. The people coming in were not always quiet and either didn’t care that it was late or assumed we couldn’t hear them. Also, at 3:30 AM there was at first a light pounding on the exterior door which became louder and louder. I’m assuming the side door locked at a certain point and the people didn’t want to walk around. Needless to say I didn’t get much sleep that night. The room is decent but I don’t think it was worth $136 for one night. And I think I might have been charged $6 for using a bowl? - DebJun 3, 2018Candlewood Suites Mooresville Lake Norman is THE place to stay if you have a dog!
Wow! After staying here, there is no question that any time we pass through town, we will be staying here again! The front desk staff was awesome and even offered our Phoebe a biscuit! Our Golden Retriever was welcomed and there were no restrictions on walking through the lobby or public areas. The grounds were immaculate and cared for by a very pleasant groundskeeper. The room was perfect and very spacious. I definitely recommend this hotel to any traveler with or without a dog.
