Drakes Island Resort welcomes pets of any size in designated rooms for an additional fee of $10 per pet, per night. There is a grassy pet relief area on the property. Vaccinations records are required at check-in, and dogs must remain leashed when outside of the room. For same day arrivals, please call 877‑411‑3436 to confirm availability of a pet-friendly room.

Drakes Island Resort is located on US Route 1 in Wells Beach Maine. The Resort is surrounded by great vacation attractions, excellent dining choices and just plain fun in the sun at the local beaches. The Resort is just one mile away from Drakes Island Beach, where there is plenty of parking and miles of clean sandy beaches. Amenities at the Resort include swimming pool, picnic area with community BBQ, game room, laundry and bathhouse, playground, and trolley service to surrounding towns. The Resort offers a variety of accommodation options. Guests can choose from Cottages, the Motel and Campground sites. There are different styles of cottages from studios to two bedrooms. Motel guest rooms feature either one queen bed or two double beds. The campground offers sites with a gravel base with grass sides, picnic tables and fire rings.

Host was awesome. Or room was close to the road with a bit of noise but the covered patio area was nice. Bed was not comfortable but room was very clean w ample towels, a coffee pot and coffee provided. Booked in advance but showed only 1 room left. Arrived and there appeared to be plenty available with larger rooms.

The location is great! Our cottage was clean, roomy and functional. The ladies at the front desk were accommodating and extremely helpful/kind. We’ve already booked for July and August! We really loved it!

They were fabulous. The small cottage was perfect for my dogs with no rugs and a grassy area behind the cottage plus a larger grassy area steps away. Chelsy went the extra mile to make me, Lucy and Eddie (my dogs) feel welcome.
