  I have stayed here many times with my dogs. It is convenient travel stop between Texas and Florida. I highly recommend. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

  My stay at this La Quinta was perfect. I’ve stayed at some hotels where my dogs spend the the whole time sniffing every inch of the floor and/or there is a nasty odor. But I did not experience that in Hattiesburg. I would recommend this location.

  Above and beyond customer service!

  I was on a 1600 mile trip in a U-Haul, towing my car. I parked in the way back of the parking lot and two pickup trucks still blocked me in. Angela and Denise were SO understanding and helpful, kind and professional! The room was nice! Hotel was quiet. Such a good experience!

  This was an unplanned stay, as our Airbnb was a disaster. La Quinta is always clean & quiet. This location remained the same. We were near an exit door, so we heard a bit more noise. Our neighbor kept opening and slamming their room door. The front staff dealt with it immediately. Our dog is over 100lbs, which truly makes lodging difficult. Our room was clean and SPACIOUS. Three nights was a breeze. It's a couple minutes to the University of Southern Miss. Our boy loved the campus. Also, a great dog park about eight minutes away. The hotel does have a grassy area out front, which is great for quick potty breaks.

  Clean and perfect location

  We drove in later than planned and had a nice room by the outside door for Fido. Walking distance to restaurants too! Breakfast was hearty. Very friendly staff!

  Clean, quiet and friendly staff. Plenty of areas to walk dogs (although they could use more waste bag stations). One of the best pet-friendly hotels we have stayed in.

  Room was nice, no carpet in case of accidents. Staff was friendly and hotel was quiet. Breakfast was above average. Only complaint is the soap in bathroom was attached to the wall?? Awkward to wash hands. Also, a bit pricey as compared to others when you add in $25 pet fee.

  Many food and fuel locations nearby. Directly east on a main street to historic downtown and the riverfront. Park behind the building where there is a door right near the elevator. Not much grass area for dogs but churches and parks nearby with open areas.

  Comfortable hotel

  Hotel was clean. Room was clean, smelled good, and was relatively big. Staff was friendly. Dog walking area was not picked up well and flooded in some areas (not hotel’s fault). Breakfast was adequate. Hotel was full, so hallways were a little noisy at night. Overall good experience.

  Room was clean and nicely decorated, but right next to an area being remodeled. Bed was comfortable. Staff was nice, breakfast was pretty good. Appreciated that it is dog friendly for a reasonable price.

  Comfortable beds, ground floor room, quiet. Outdoor grass for the dog with a bin for poops. Breakfast was pretty standard. Nearby restaurants, with takeout.

  Hotel under construction

  We were first given a room on the 4th floor. As the elevator opened there you were hit with a blast of heat, rough floor w/o tile or carpet. I opened the room which was warm & the bathroom unclean. I returned to the desk & was given another room on the 3rd floor…2 queens instead of a king. The reception person told us it wasn’t a handicapped room. I told her we didn’t need one. I don’t know where that decision was
  made. The night person seemed uncaring. Missy was our am person & acted as if she really cared. We usually love La Quintas because they are pet friendly

  We’ve stayed at quite a few La Quintas and this one in Hattiesburg by far was the best. Extremely clean, comfortable rooms the staff is stellar! Lori the manager is top notch! I definitely recommend this La Quinta.

  Convenient and good room

  Everything was all set up for us. Love the service provided by BringFido. The room was nice and we felt comfy and safe. We are relocating from Florida to California with our furry family and love the convenience of having everything set in advance. This location is close to Mugshots which had fast and good takeaway service for bar type food.

  Lovely remodeled hotel, about a block off I-59 so much quieter than others we've recently experienced. Many breakfast foods offered in the cafe area. The only negatives is that there were no quarters available for the coin laundry on the 4th floor (got some at nearby grocery) and no Do Not Disturb signs in the room and desk clerk couldn't find any. We made our own when we went out without our pets and one appeared on our door handle when we returned... also appeared on other rooms. Friendly staff and lots of pet walk areas, with clean grounds. I would stay there again.

  All the dog areas were lacking poop bags in the dispensers and waste cans were full. Other than that the hotel was quiet and clean.

  Recently renovated. Great bed. Great shower. Good dog area with potty station. Lacking the 5th bone only bc renovation still in process and breakfast was a bit lacking. Would stay again!

  No frills hotel with clean rooms, low pet fee & plenty of room for fur child to potty! Exactly what we needed for our quick one night stay on the way to Florida. Plenty of restaurants, etc close bye.

  We stayed here on Dec. 9th-10th on our outbound leg of our trip. This hotel was dated and in serious need of renovation throughout the whole hotel! First thing I noticed in the hallway just around the corner from the front desk was a broken door off it's hinges with a cabinet pushed up against it to keep it closed! Really? Rooms were dated, dingy, and in need of renovation. Cleanliness seem okay. Needed to use the laundry room but the machines were out of detergent and the staff couldn't get any more from the locked storage room that night. Ended up having to drive to the store to get some detergent. Staff seemed indifferent that night. Not much grassy areas around the property for the dogs to go potty. Parking lot not well lit. Won't stay here again!

  I’ve stayed here numerous times and it could be worse, could be better. The room was a touch perfumier than I remembered, I could hear people shouting and carrying on upstairs and my dogs were obsessively smelling around the room, whatever that means. They don’t do that at every hotel, just FYI. On the plus side, there’s a restaurant right next door with pretty decent food.

  Worst ever!

  This is worst "dog friendly" hotel, ever!
  The front desk person was rude & grumpy. She gave us a room as far away from the entrance as possible (second floor, way down the hall from the elevator). Easy access to going in / out is so important when needing to take a dog outside. The dog walking area consisted of a small island full of dog poo.
  Our room did not have any shampoo, conditioner or hand soap. Only 3 towels, instead of 4.
  When my wife went down to the desk to ask for some bath items, the same woman behind the counter (as before) was again rude & grumpy. Never once a hello, welcome... nothing!
  Only one elevator for this large hotel.
  We make two trips past this area every year. Will never stay here again!

  The rooms were clean and comfortable. Pet fee is $20. My dog loved it and wet slept soundly.
