Secluded Mountain Cabin

This unique, 1-room, off-the-grid cabin retreat near Asheville is 1 of 2 structures on a 30 acre permaculture site with solar power, spring fed water, private hiking trails, a large meadow, creek, 1 of a kind treehouse, wood-fired hot tub & more. The 240 sq. ft tiny home is simple, modern, clean and well insulated. There are 2 beds (a twin and a double) in a bed-sized loft with low clearance to the roof. It's perfect for 1 or 2 people or a couple with a small child. There's indoor and outdoor, solar-powered LED lighting, 6 car-lighter wall outlets for charging a laptop or cell phone, a simple kitchen with cold running spring water, a propane range, indoor wood-burning stove for heat and hot water, and a composting toilet in a separate structure. No fridge. Guests can use the wood-fired Snorkel hot tub for $40 extra per 2 night visit (for cleaning and unlimited split wood). In winter, the tub is filled by hose from the hydrant. While this rental does not come with internet or phone service and the property does not generally get cell phone reception, guests may, if it is working, connect via wireless internet service in the barn.
