Stayed in a 2 bedroom apt. Had good space and everything we needed. Rooms are a little worn, but clean. Dog wash station is great! Little far for walking to the dog park on the boardwalk, so we drove there and found parking. Street parking spots are not easy to find but parking fees are cheap.

The people were amazing with customer service, gave my baby doggie bowls and cookies for the room and were very kind for our 3-day stay. Only complaint, the room would not stay a decent temp to help my baby stay cool; there was a huge gap in between the door and the frame in room 19.

This was our first time staying at the Sand Box. It was perfect for us and our dog. The room was a great size and very clean. We also liked that there was a range stove and a fridge. We will definitely be staying again.

We stayed here for a couple days. Staff was great at check-in, even gave us a mat with bowls and a treat for our pup. The room was clean. There’s a dog bath outside the office to wash the sand off our pup. We were grateful to not have to bring him in our room with tons of sand.

I have stayed multiple times here with my family and dog. They are absolutely amazing. Very clean and I noticed lots of updates over the years. I will always stay here with my fur baby. Staff is always super accommodating and the guests are also friendly.

Manager and staff could not have been more friendly to us and our dogs when we arrived for wedding on 10/1. We have 2 senior dogs who could not navigate stairs to 2nd floor so they contacted other guests by phone to see if they would be willing to switch rooms. They were and it was a huge relief for us. Maybe this is common practice among pet friendly hotels, but I don't think so. Many thanks for the hospitality.

Deb, Shiv and Scott were awesome!!! Check-in was a breeze with Deb and Shiv. All our questions were answered with a smile and never felt like a burden. They went out of their way to make sure our accommodations were met. Very dog friendly motel!! The rooms were very clean and smelled nice. The doggy bowls, treats and collapsible travel bowl were an awesome added touch!! Scott was also very pleasant when checking out. Would definitely go back again!! 🦴🐶🐾

Sand Box is the best place we've stayed in 25 years of marriage. Debbie at the front desk was very helpful in recommending places to eat and things to see. We wish we picked this hotel to begin with, but made the mistake of staying at the Red Roof Inn. We were only going to stay for 2 nights but we liked it so much we stayed for 2 more nights. We will stay here next year when we come back to Wildwood.

It was our first beach holiday with our two puppies and they loved it! The Sand Box gave our doggos cute cookies and their own dishes. The location is very convenient to groceries and a nice neighborhood walk where many pet owners are walking their dogs. People were super friendly!

Don't stay here. It was very inconvenient on the second floor. We have 3 small dogs that don't do stairs. Between bringing the luggage and the dogs to the room, we were exhausted.
The carpet in the room was worn and dirty. The bathroom was tiny and the tub didn't drain. Not enough hot water.
It cost me almost 145.00 for a room that was disgusting. There wasn't another room available in town or we wouldn't have stayed there. $60 was added to the room rate for my dogs. I love love love going to the sandbox. The staff is so friendly and willing to help with anything. The rooms are super clean and they are the only place I found to welcome my Newfoundland with open arms. Every other hotel is “small dogs only”🙄 I highly recommend staying here if you have larger dogs!!!
