We were advised after booking of a $20 extra fee and then that dogs are not allowed on furniture. We were told that if hair was found there would be another $40 charge. The room was cold and damp and the floor was wood and there was no mat for a dog to sleep on. We were expecting a little more consideration for a supposedly dog-friendly hotel.

Health & Safety
Safe Stay: Vista Verde Lodge has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay and sealed after cleaning. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Contactless check-in and check-out are available. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks.
