We have stayed twice in the past three years. The location and property retain their charm. Both rooms were very dated, needed maintenance and were marginally clean. The carpets were gross. The window locks were iffy, the ground floor room was vulnerable.

The only reason I'm giving this a two instead of a one is the staff. They were fantastic! The restaurant was really good too. The rooms, not so much. Unfortunately, the first room we booked didn't have hot water so we had to move to another room. The second room was fine until we flushed the toilet the next morning and had a huge overflow that flooded my feet while I was brushing my teeth. I hope they are able to get the repairs that they need done. This is a really cute location and the grounds are beautiful.

We stayed one night in a cabin. It was very comfortable, clean but on the older side. The grounds were great for walking the dogs. The mattress was a bit lumpy and uncomfortable. We would go back and stay there again

This place was great. We stayed in a chalet & it was more than plenty of room. The resort allows dogs everywhere. There is also a train to the museum that allows dogs & a large field/walking trail at the back of the property.
