We had a pleasant stay at Queens Gate on Anna Maria Island. The hotel was peaceful, clean and comfortable however, the pet fees were exorbitant. In the manager's defense they did notify me of this fee prior to our reservation so this was transparent prior to our arrival.

We had a wonderful stay at Queen’s Gate. Kathy (sp?) and Amber were great hosts, our thanks to both of them! Although the room was somewhat ‘worn’, it was spotless and met all our needs, including two little dogs.
The location is great, just across the street from an awesome beach, walking distance to good restaurants/shops and a nicely maintained courtyard to BBQ or swim.
