This place is our "go to" when we are in the San Marcos area. The hotel is extremely clean and quiet. The property sits behind an outlet shopping mall, so it is removed far enough from the highway to remain quiet but also accessible for all the area attractions. Our two small dogs had plenty of grassy areas to walk around. I have no issues to report as our stay was pleasant.

This La Quinta is newer and very clean. We had a dog friendly room, but you could not tell other dogs had ever stayed there. Plenty of space to walk your 4 legged friend outside, too. I recommend this hotel if you’re staying in San Marcos.
