This hotel charges a $50 pet fee and is infested with ants. Forget about feeding your dog here... the ants will swarm you.

I stopped here on the drive home for a night with two dogs, one a puppy. Check-in was easy but the room had ants everywhere. We had to toss any food we brought in with us. Wouldn’t stay again but worked for a cheap pit stop.

This was our first hotel stay in a year and a half since Covid. Our room was not clean upon arrival. There was a used bar of soap in the tub, bathroom surfaces with a solid layer of sticky dust, and food left in the refrigerator. If this was the visible signs of uncleanliness, I can’t imagine how poorly the rest of the room was “cleaned”. Yuck

Tile bathroom floor and wood room floor are easy to clean. Medium noise conductance. We were allocated in a room without balcony so only had a very small window which cannot fully open. Very good restaurant in the hotel. The beach in front was not very clean but drive 5 minutes take to the beautiful crescent beach.

Staff was very friendly and very accepting of my pup. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Only down side was because of COVID there was no free breakfast as advertised, and the wait for our meal was an hour.

This hotel is slightly outdated but it's obvious they are doing some work. The restaurant was extremely short handed the night of the 3rd but it was also busy. The pool, hot tub, and sauna were closed thanks to Covid-19, as was TE breakfast buffet.
BUT!
This hotel is on the beach. Not much more is needed. Walk out the side door from the restaurant and there's the ocean in your face. No one gave any extra attention to our 2 dogs but that's fine because it wasn't needed.
I took one bone off due to the beds being too hard. That's the only issue I had.
