Great choice! Very convenient for our visit. Our 2 boys were well received showing acceptance of larger dogs - a Golden Retriever & an English Lab. The weather was perfect for outdoor dining at Fit & Fetter. There is a large lawn shared by the hotel & senior housing condos. It is perfect for dog walking. Parking is very convenient. Could not have been a better experience for pets & humans!

Staff was excellent and very helpful. We stayed here with two dogs. Hotel itself was nice and the room was big enough to easily and comfortably fit two dogs beds. We had a great experience! Our first time staying at a hotel with dogs.

The hotel was so cute, the bathroom (and shower!!!) was amazing, staff was friendly. The room is extremely spacious and comfortable. They started decorating for Christmas while we were there which made it even more special. Will definitely stay again!

Enjoyed everything about this hotel. New, spacious rooms, lovely lobby. Felt the staff and guests were very welcoming to my large (70 lb) dog. Mandatory valet worked well as we landed here for the night on night 4 of a 5 day road trip. Cocktails were amazing, loved the restaurant outdoor patio was dog friendly. Restaurant was extremely busy so service became slow but started off great and overall was very happy. Room super spacious with a number of pocket doors that I used to block off my pup from wandering the room at night. We will be back for sure!

Beautiful in every way - room was wonderful, stylish and very comfortable. Main floor with restaurant, bar and lobby was beautiful. Friendly staff and large grassy area for the dogs. Was likely one of the most beautiful dog friendly hotels we have ever stayed at. 5 bones!

The Canopy motel is new and beautiful. There is no dog walking area, but there are some grassy areas just outside. Hotel has some quirks. Valet parking is mandatory and they charge 18% for parking and valet. The front desk and valet station are frequently unmanned with 5-10 minute wait until they reappear. This is a NO CASH hotel, so make sure you have cash for tips. Room service appeared reasonable, but when you add the mandatory tip it becomes costly. The Cesar Salad and Beet salad were very small portions and you’ll pay extra for a protein. All in all very good choice for those with two legs, fair choice for our four-legged furbabies.

Wow! Perfect boutique hotel. So dog friendly. The place smells amazing! Beautiful from the moment you arrive. Rooms are clean, spacious and just lovely. Bathroom is modern and very clean. Beds were very comfy. Loved this place. We felt very safe and very welcomed. Staff was perfect too! They loved on my dog and were so pleasant. I can’t recommend this place enough! Definitely stay here, you won’t be disappointed. It’s perfect!

We have been here twice with our pooch and have enjoyed it both times. The rooms are spacious, bed is comfy and shower is amazing! Love the barn door that separates the bathroom area from the bedroom area, it helps to comfort our dog from noise outside in hallway so that he doesn’t bark. Great dog area outside of hotel to walk your dog around! Every time we come to Charlotte, we will plan on staying here. No question about it!

Stayed March 5th and booked with the BringFido app. The hotel is lovely and the food good. Received a copy of our bill via email and we were charged $223.59 for the night. The total according to BringFido should have been $201.53. I spoke with Tyler on March 6 when we got home and he advised me we would be credited for the error. It is now March 21st and no credit. Surprise, surprise!. We used two other hotels on our trip without any “funny business.“ We had room service for dinner and breakfast. We tipped on our own; on the bill the hotel added their own “tip amount” on top of what we had already given! I brought this to Tyler’s attention and expressed our dissatisfaction. The “over tip” was also to be credited back to us. Surprise! Surprise! No credit. CHECK YOUR BILL WITH THIS HOTEL!!! BE AWARE! Parking is valet only $15 a day. There is NO other parking available (we were aware ahead of time). Would give ZERO bones if the app would take it

From the minute we drove up we were impressed. BEAUTIFUL huge dog walk area. Was expecting the normal dog room you get at most other places but our room was nicer than regular rooms at a hotel. The price at first glance was a little higher until you see that there's no additional dog fees and you can have multiple pets. Will definitely use again. Can't say enough thanks to the staff for their help and friendliness.

This place was fantastic! All the staff were so warm, welcoming, & helpful, everyone loved on our two dogs (Golden Retrievers - I saw many even larger dogs, so for sure they welcome large dogs w/o a blink…& have large milkbones at reception!), the bartender was fab, the chef is fab (short ribs & polenta! 🤤), ask to try (& then buy to take home) their in-house whiskey BBQ sauce, “SchmidtFaced” (& meet the handsome & kind formulator)…I didn’t run into one person there who wasn’t upbeat, personable, professional, & didn’t appear to sincerely want to help you. Then the room! It was gorgeous & very comfy. I loved the cute milk bottle to fill w/filtered water down the hall.
Yes, there are places in the area that cost less, but then they have pet fees which bring the cost of your stay to about the same (& some a higher!) cost, so why not stay in a lovely boutique hotel (without pet fees), rather than a cookie-cutter hotel, & allow yourself to feel pampered? Now, if I’d only thought to order an extra plate of short ribs to take with me.

The hotel is beautiful & well appointed! There are plenty of grassy spots to walk about nearby, with bags & a waste receptacle. Parking is in a structure across the street which isn’t ideal, but you immediately forget about it once inside this wonderful hotel! We tried to dine in the restaurant inside the hotel for breakfast, think we may have caught a backend staff member, she was not friendly & we eventually left and went to one of the plentiful restaurants in the area!

Brought my cat and dog to the hotel they loved it. We got a premium king and there was a farmhouse door separating the room from the bathroom. Which was great because we could close that door to leave the room and the pets could not follow. There is only one entrance to the hotel which was a bummer. There is also a parking garage but it's not the closest to the hotel so you will have a trek to the car. Lack of luggage carts but everything else was wonderful. The doggy relief area is huge and they provide bags and disposal. We saw multiple dogs over 75 lbs including our German Shepherd as well so it's lax on weight restriction. Nice restaurant inside hotel as well.
