Sadly COVID seems to have had a real impact on this hotel. The toilet was leaking (and they knew it but didn’t inform us) and I kept wondering why my feet got wet every time I went into the bathroom. The room was very small for the price. The included breakfast was less than adequate. Not a lot of fruit or any yogurt. No herbal tea. Certainly not worth the price.

We live locally but have had a frequent issue with the RV we live in leaking. The Coast has been welcoming and accommodating to us and both our dogs. There have been times where we have had to show up in the middle of the night because our heat crapped out and it was -3, have frequently had to add nights at the last minute when the service team suddenly changes when our trailer will be fixed. We have had nine months of back and forth with our service people and The Coast has been there for us through it all whenever we need. Highly recommend this hotel. You will not find friendlier and more helpful staff anywhere. This will forever be my spot in Campbell River no matter where I live.

We had a great room (albeit small, only one bed) in the main part of the hotel (not the tower) and didn’t hear other guests at all. Apparently they make sure they separate dogs by at least one room. The bed was comfortable and they did a breakfast bag option since they couldn’t do their normal breakfast due to Covid. Would definitely stay there again.
