We had an amazing time, this was the nicest extremely dog-friendly place we’ve ever been to!! Usually they are mid-grade and just have a few pet amenities. This was place like made for a pet family! The pet resort fee was super affordable $100 for the first night and $25 for each additional. There were pet waste bags and pet relief areas all over. They had a PAW-some dog menu that we ordered for our two pups that when it came it literally looked like a gourmet meal for us humans! They also had dog bowls, dog treats, and dog beds for us all ready in the room once we got there! The staff was so sweet and accommodating, always checking in on us and the room service was ON FIRE. Very yummy! Finally, the room was so cold and refreshing in the hot AZ sun and the water from the shower was hot/warm when we needed it!

This resort was gorgeous. Every staff member we met was SO friendly. There were dog beds with bowls and treats waiting for our pups in the room. Ordered room service and it was delicious!!!

I mean, for the price of the room + resort fee + pet fee, if you have any complaints about this hotel you're going to be HOPPING MAD, am I right? All jokes aside, we've stayed in a lot of mid-range hotels with our dogs and decided on a little splurge for once. The room was amazing. We stayed in a Sonoran King with outside shower and mountain view. Amazing. We got room service and sat on our patio late into the evening enjoying the warm breezes and peacefulness of the surroundings. Very quiet.
Room was equipped with a food bowl and cuddle bed for our dogs which was nice although we do travel with our own. Room service was a little disappointing. We read online that they had special options for dogs but that was not the case. Our food was ok - they completely forgot my husband's meal and so we had to wait a bit for it and then when it came it wasn't what he ordered. I mean, it was ok but it was over $100 for 2 meals and we didn't order drinks you would think the service would be a little better.
The grounds are flipping gorgeous. I mean those resort fees definitely go to the landscapers holy cow. It's like stepping into a fairy tale. We didn't stay long enough to really enjoy all of the amenities offered but everything really looked and sounded amazing. Overall a great respite for weary travelers.

We stayed at Hacienda Del Sol 12 years ago with our old retriever. This road trip we arrived with our Spinone puppy and he place has been completely rebuilt with new rooms and suites. We were upgraded to a lovely room with all the old HdS decor and great views across the gardens to the foothills. Enzo was greeted with a dog bed and bowls and clear maps on where to walk around he property. We all had a great nights sleep before heading back out on the road early he next morning! Many thanks to the staff for their hospitality!

Hacienda del Sol doesn’t claim to just like dogs, they walk the talk. Our room included a dog bed! And there were treats for both dogs and humans. Our dogs were welcome in the patio restaurant and all the staff greeted them. Of all the places we have stayed in the world, this ranks in the top 10 AND #1 for including dogs!

Took a casita here. It is beyond wonderful. Best dog friendly place I have ever stayed!! Lots of space. A dog bed , treats and a water bowl awaited. Left out 2 collies in the room for an hour when we went to eat on property. On our return they were sound asleep. Quiet and comfortable room was key.
Casita was warm and welcoming.
