We stayed in one of the garden suites. Nothing too fancy. No fridge or microwave, although that didn’t spoil our experience. Free delicious coffee in the hotel lobby which we enjoyed on the upstairs balcony with ocean view. (There is a coffeemaker in the suite as well). Great location to restaurants, shopping, Mendocino Beach and the Headlands. Very dog friendly town. Apparently they will be closed for some time in 2024 to remodel the hotel and the suites. BTW, Patterson Pub serves delicious food and they are very close by.

The hotel, built in 1878, is an historical gem in the charming seaside town of Mendocino. It's a tiny town so it's an easy walk around and also access to the Mendocino Headlands. Most of the nearby shops are also pet friendly. Beautiful and peaceful.

Safe Stay: The Mendocino Hotel and Garden Suites has enhanced cleaning and safety measures in place. Masks and hand sanitizer are provided to guests, and rooms are disinfected between each stay. Social distancing measures are in place, as well as physical barriers between staff and guests. Contactless check-in and check-out are available. Each room has a 24-hour gap period between stays, and hotel staff are required to wear masks.
