  Wonderful hotel

  We loved it so much that we’re coming back! Super clean room with everything you need. They even have a dog washing station. Echo loved her welcome bag with sweet potato treats. The staff is lovely. I felt welcome.

  Simply fine!

  Easy and hospitable check-in. Pleasant and clean room, great dog treats. Very thoughtful of them not to put us in a room with someone overhead (likely a problem for our very vigilant dogs). The experience practically cured us of Airbnb.

  Pleasant and clean

  We were looking for an overnight stop between SF Bay Area and Los Angeles and this place worked perfectly. I would say an upstairs room is better if you are a light sleeper. They were able to accommodate us with our two pups and walking options for them were just a short walk away behind the inn. Our first time visiting Morro Bay so we hope to return for a longer stay!

  Nice

  This hotel was nice and clean. It's in a good location near shops and restaurants. This was one of few hotels that promised treats at check-in and delivered! They provided a nice little bag with poop bags and treats. We will definitely stay here again.

  Doggy Gift Bag

  We arrived and doggy gift bags were waiting for us. The hotel rooms have been recently renovated. It was clean and the beds were comfortable.

  Great location!

  We loved the little doggie care package at check-in! Our room overlooked the Morro rock. The Inn was within walking distance of everything, beach, Rock and restaurants! I would have given it a 5, but the room was next to the street and was a little noisy.

  Very dog friendly

  Great staff and location. Dog beach up CA-1 is doggie heaven! The room was scarce with hard plastic chairs and low shower water flow but doable.

  They were ready for us

  It was pouring rain, but that doesn't stop the need for walks. The hotel supplies bags at check-in along with a treat that Abby loved (she doesn't usually eat treats at the Vet's). The room was clean, had a lovely balcony overlooking the ocean (that we weren't able to use) and very friendly staff. We'll return.

  Our stay was very welcoming. The rooms were clean, and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The outside tub to bathe the dogs was a bonus after having the dog at the beach. We will come again!

  Great location

  Motel is convenient to Morro Bay sites. Park the car and walk everywhere. Most places are pup friendly. Our room had view of the famous Morro Rock. Goody bag for pup at check in is nice touch. Be warned, the walls and floors of this motel are thin so you will hear neighbors. But even over the weekend, all was quiet by 11pm.

  Good Hotel and Location

  We stayed here with our 90# lab. He requires a first floor room, so if that's something you need, be sure to ask, as they have 2nd floor pet-rooms, too. The room was comfortable and roomy, with two doors that opened to small outdoor "porch" areas. The hotel is in walking distance from Morro Rock and the Embarcadero/marina area, and a short drive from the Morro Bay Dog Beach (off-leash beach! 😀). It appears to be a family-run inn, and everyone we encountered was courteous and attentive. Would stay again!

  Lovely, quiet inn close to everything!

  We had a great stay at the Harbor House Inn! They were so welcoming to our pup and even had a potty area and a dog washing station which was much needed after a day at the beach! The hotel was pretty much walking distance to everything in the town and only a short drive to the off-leash dog beach. The room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and a fridge, and we appreciated how quiet it was.

  Great location and accommodations

  Well located between downtown and the water, very convenient and walkable. Clean and roomy accommodations, with a balcony for you and your pups. On-site dog washing station was GREAT! You could let your pups run and get dirty, knowing you could bathe and clean them up before entering your room! such a nice addition! A liquor/deli/convenience store is right across the street - open long hours in case you suddenly need anything (and you always do). We definitely recommend this place when traveling with your dogs and would stay here again!

  Relaxing Stay

  Great spot! Walking distance to everything. Room was large and comfy. The private patio was nice for me and my pups. Will definitely stay there again.

  Great place for you and your pet

  The room was big and well keep. Looked remodeled even. Very quiet. 2 short blocks from the waterfront. Great local coffee shops near by. All pet friendly! We will definitely visit again.

  Absolutely recommend!

  Stayed here for a couple nights for a road trip up north. The location is two blocks from delicious food, shopping and walking along the waterfront. You don’t hear the hustle and bustle of the city, but may hear the faint echo of the sea lions. Dog washing station on site. Room and patio were very neat and clean. Would stay here again! The entire town is VERY dog friendly.

  Very pet friendly

  They provide many amenities for dog owners such as convenient pet-friendly rooms, dog bags, outdoor grass areas and even an outdoor dog-washing station with shampoo and towels! This hotel is updated with modern amenities and I would stay here again, highly recommend!

  Not what i was expecting.

  1st of all, we were put on the 2nd floor, WITH 2 DOGS! The room wasn't as big as it looks in photos, the layout is weird, walking into the room, the bathroom is the 1st thing u walk in. Right in front with windows that if open people can look into bathroom. Thrn the cooler was in opposite corner from bed, as was ceiling fan so we were very warm too warm. Yes there is a laundey room that has no change machine so you have to go to the front desk which is okay I guess if the washing machine would have worked or if it doesn't put an out of order sign on it no way to get the money back that I put into it. A chicken we had to sign a dog policy stating that we would pay $150 for damages and we know not to leave a dog in the room when the cleaning lady tried to clean our room (no Do Not Disturb sign available to hang) one of dogs barked at her when she tried to come in, later i get a phone call from management saying that my room didn't get done today because the dog was left alone in the room which was untrue my husband was there no one bothered to check her ass for everything or call then so he could have answered and said that he was there but the manager called with a very snarky tone until I told her that my husband was there and yes I knew of the paper I signed stating no dogs are allowed to be left alone overall it wasn't bad just wasn't what I was expecting based on reviews that I read. It works with some people for me it didn't. But the cleaning staff and everyone else but the manager are I'm assuming she was a manager based on her tone and when Elsa was very friendly we even were late checking out because when the door automatically locks after checkout time and we said one more bag left the name man was more than happy to unlock her door for us so the cleaners I was very friendly no I will not stay there again like I said it works for some people that place isn't for me.

  Nice place for people and dogs

  A comfortable and clean room. Good location (among other motels) in downtown Morro Bay. Within walking distance of everything. Room gave no sense there had been mony other dogs in it (no smell, wear and tear, etc).

  Only dog tolerant for the money

  This property is only dog tolerant for the extra money they receive. The floors are great for dogs. But the is no where on the block to take your dog for relief. Also no trash cans to put poop bags on the property except the locked laundry/ice machine room, which no dog owner would do. Price expensive with the no reason “ fee per dog per day” as nothing new is done per day or per pet.

  Good Value, Very Comfortable

  The only reason I didn’t give this hotel 5 bones is because there is no pet relief area. For a dog-friendly hotel, it’s weird that the nearest patch of grass is across the street at a different hotel!
  Besides that though, for a low rate stay, the room was very comfortable. It did smell strongly like cleaner when we arrived, but you get used to it and I’m not complaining about a clean smell! We had a king suite with a fireplace - the bed is comfortable, the shower was decent, and there was plenty of room for me, my husband and our poochie. Would definitely stay here again.

  Could have been better

  Stayed here for 5 nights in October 2018. The manager neglected to inform us that there would be ongoing construction in the room next door, and I got a migraine from the noise through the paper thin walls. The people cleaning rooms brought their kids and allowed them to run and yell all over the property everyday. Room 104 where we were was a clean room and recently redecorated. The water pressure was way too low, and the shower temperature changed when the adjacent rooms flushed their toilets. They are currently renovating all the rooms, so I hope that improvements will be made to let guests feel more comfortable while staying there in the future.

  Nicer than expected

  The bed was very comfortable. Spacious room. Nice staff. Only down side is no place for doggo’s to go potty in the near area.
