    Truly dog friendly

Stayed here 3 nights with our pup. Lots of folks brought theirs as well, so plenty of opportunity for canine socialization. Huge jar of dog treats next to the registration desk. Lots of outdoor dining (well-heated) so those with pups can enjoy a nice meal overlooking the bay.

As a city dog, mine was a little confused by the flock of wild turkeys wandering about the property. She also heard a lot of barking from the “sea dogs” (seals) who had made a home on a little islet in the harbor. They must have been barking in a language she didn’t understand because usually she’ll bark a greeting back to other dogs and this time she just cocked her head and looked puzzled.

We were given directions to a nearby dog-friendly beach which my pup just loved, a nearby off leash dog park which was super well kept up, and told which restaurants and wineries in the area were most dog friendly.

    Location was amazing

Rooms could use some updating but location was fantastic for a one night stay on our road trip passing through.

    Great hotel

The folks at Inn at Morro Bay are friendly professionals who clearly like dogs and want you to feel comfortable being there with them. Happy with the experience and will definitely stay again with my two girls.

    Perfect place to stay

The Inn at Morro Bay is a beautiful property with recently updated rooms that are clean, comfortable, and quiet. The shower in my room was large and had nicely scented bath soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The room had adequate lighting and the bedside lamps had USB ports. A big plus was the Keurig and the number of coffee pods. I got to have two cups of coffee two mornings in a row. The room was spacious and there was grass right outside my door for my dog to do his business. A definite highlight is the gorgeous drive though the state park along the coast to Los Osos Valley Road. Will definitely stay here again.

    100% Dog Friendly

We stayed in one of the "partial bay view" rooms with our rottweiler and we had a great time. Aside from the railing, we truly had a full bay view. We had a semi-private patio area with chairs where we were able to sit with our dog, enjoy the view and a glass of wine. The room was tastefully furnished and spacious. We were welcome in the lobby and the restaurant's patio, and there were plenty of places for our pup to relieve herself and lots of walking areas right off the property. Hotel is at the quiet end of town, so a bit of a walk to the main part of town, but doable. Overall, a very comfortable place to stay with your fur baby.

    Just okay

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was somewhat updated. Thermostat, fridge & fridge don’t work. Thankfully the weather was cool. Great view of the bay. No designated area for pups to do their business.

Beautiful renovated rooms & pup friendly!

We travel with our pup almost everywhere so we’re picky about where we stay. This inn has beautiful renovated rooms with fireplaces and very dog friendly. We were able to take our pup to the restaurant and sit in the outdoor patio with the heaters on and enjoy the coveted Morro Bay view. The three of us will be regulars.

    Excellent! They love dogs!

Everyone at this hotel seemed to love dogs! They let us eat inside at the restaurant and there was an area for him to potty.

    Large dogs welcome

We have have 2 very large boxers (90 & 95 lbs) and have stayed here more times than I can count. 12 maybe 15 times. The staff LOVE our boys and we have never had any problem with their size. When you make reservation ask if an “accessible” room is available as much larger and (we feel) better for pets, but all of their rooms are very nice. They charge $20/dog/night pet charge, but if you ask when you check in they will only charge you $20 total for multiple pets. I highly recommend the Inn at Morro Bay for anyone traveling with pets.

    Wonderful Time

I wanted to leave a positive reply. We had a lovely time. The staff could not have been nicer. We were there during the Thanksgiving holiday. Rainy but we still had a nice time. Cozy and clean.
