Great location with a dog park 5 minutes down the street. Clean room, no problems checking in or bringing my Golden Retriever with me. I would stay here again if I was passing through SLO.

This property has had upgrades and offers decent rooms. Ours was a very strange angular layout. I also had an issue with not being informed of a $50 security hold, which the clerk waived. There was no grass for walking our pet!!!

Pretty disappointed with this place. Only high point is that it is pet friendly and it is clean, but the rooms are noisy, the clientele is a bit dodgy (mostly traveling utility crews) and the pillows are like boulders. Maintenance is poor: ice machine was broken, jacuzzi was broken and the AC would wake the dead. So the management is definitely doing things on the cheap. I guess it is okay if everything else is sold out but we paid a premium for one night and definitely did not get our money’s worth.
