  Terrible experience

  We arrived late after being on the road for over 12 hours and just wanted to crash. The person at the front desk was not friendly at all and while we were there someone checked out and he said sorry to them. That was the first clue that this wasn’t going to be a great stay but we were all tired and wanted to just sleep. We get to the room and the second we walked in the door the room smelled of wet dog, the floors had stains and sticky spots. We didn’t really want to deal with it and since we were prepaid didn’t want to deal with trying to get a refund when we were dead tired so we just went to bed. The next morning we found a lot of things here and there that told us this hotel either has bad management or the staff just doesn’t care (or maybe both). Ripped curtains, hair dryer didn’t work, no shampoo or conditioner, hotel grounds were a mess with broken glass in the parking lot and graffiti on one of the walls, carpets not vacuumed in our room and hallways, elevator smelled like cigarettes and weed and the floor was sticky. the kids were looking forward to swimming but the pool wasn’t filled and gate to the pool was chained shut. I don’t really have anything good to say about this place except maybe that the included breakfast wasn’t terrible! Don’t bother with this place!

  Smoke City!

  This hotel was supposed to be smoke free. It definitely was not. I had to switch rooms because I could hardly breathe. The relief area was tiny. and the courtyard had cigarette buds every 6 inches. The late night employee was not nice and fell asleep and I had to ring the bell 3 times to get in. My lights didn’t work in my room.
  yay for complimentary breakfast 🙄 definitely would not stay here again.

  Absolutely horrible!!!

  This was horrible! The rooms were absolutely gross! There were cob webs, sandwich left in the microwave, mold in the refrigerator, bathroom light did not work, sheets were dirty, people that are not paying guests of the hotel were coming in and out and using the rooms and the front desk lady did not care. Overall, all just a horrible place to stay! Would NEVER recommend!!!

  Easy access to and from the interstate. Old Chicago Pizza is good and convenient.

  Good enough

  I only stayed one night and it was decent. The elevator is extremely slow and they weren’t very good about the cleaning (there was an used q-tip on the bathroom floor when I arrived). But the staff is very friendly and it’s conveniently located next to restaurants, Target and at a very short driving distance from a cute park where you can walk with your pups (Quail Lake Park). I felt like it was very centric so overall it was okay.

  Extended road trip with two dogs - not the best hotel

  This was the first road trip we've taken with our golden retriever and German Shepherd, and we were concerned about their comfort and our need for a clean, smell free hotel room given the "dog friendly" conditions. Out of four La Quinta Hotels we stayed in, this was the lowest ranked in the group. The carpet was scrubbed in many spots due to prior pet accidents, and we were prepared for some of this reality. We weren't prepared for the acrid urine smell that permeated the room, however. I bought some heavy duty Febreze spray and sprayed the carpet which helped a bit. Our stay was three nights, and we were glad to leave for an odorless future hotel room. The room itself (bed/bathroom) were clean. The carpet in that room needs to be removed, however.

  Very convenient and friendly

  We stayed four days, enjoyed the pool and breakfast, and had no problems. Staff was attentive and our dog was happy.

  Not a great place

  First room: A/C didn't work, tub was dirty, towels had marks, smelt musty in the room. Got moved to another room next day, everything the same except the A/C did work better.

  Ok stay

  Room was fine, could have been cleaner hotel in the common areas. Still waiting for my deposit back on my credit card. Unfortunately I have to call straighten it out.

  Great place to bring dogs. Got to meet other dog lovers. Front desk are very friendly. Have poop bags.

  Tired property

  This is an older LaQuinta hotel and its dirty. It needs to be thoroughly cleaned and refreshed. We had our dog with us and this property is NOT dog friendly. There is a very small patch of grass that is over watered and turns into mud. The hotel is surrounded by shopping and pavement. Lots of space to maneuver large vehicles or trailers.

  Pretty disappointed in their cleanliness standards. Crumbs throughout the room, bathroom mirror/counter clearly not cleaned and tub had mildew in it.

  Excellent Place to Stay!!!

  Very nice hotel, no pet fee, received two poo bags and a dog bone treat at check-in and there are two grassy areas for your dog,
