The Broadmoor
The Broadmoor welcomes two dogs of any size for an additional fee of $100 per pet, per night. Only ground-floor rooms are pet friendly. Well-behaved dogs may be left in the room unattended. Four-legged guests receive treats, bowls, a pet bed, and waste bags at check-in, and pet relief areas are located throughout the property. Cats are not accepted. Guests are encouraged to leave the name, breed, and size of their dog to better personalize the welcome gift for their pup! The Broadmoor has two 18-hole golf courses and a tennis facility, recently rated the sixth finest tennis resort in the country. There are 700 guest accommodations at The Broadmoor. These range from individual rooms to well appointed suites. Rooms have either a king bed or two double beds, comfortable period furniture, and elegant bathrooms. Many offer views of beautiful Cheyenne Mountain and the resort's own Cheyenne Lake. There is a service fee per night for various hotel services which is not included in the price of the package.

This is one of the best dog friendly hotels in the nation! Yes, it’s $100 a night pet fee, but your dog is treated as a valued guest of the hotel. The dog will receive its own special souvenir “Broadmoor” dog tag, bed, silver dog bowls, treats, waste bags and bottled water. Dog walkers/sitters are offered. The room service menu offers restaurant quality dog food too! This is a beautiful, historic hotel that truly values customer service. The dog-friendly rooms are easily accessible to the courtyard. The rooms are spotless, gorgeous and not your typical “dog hotel rooms.” The Broadmoor is worth every penny. In Colorado, most hotels understand that dogs are just as important as their humans, but the Broadmoor goes the extra mile with their little touches that make dogs feel welcomed and valued.

They include a metal dog tag for your stay that says “guest of the broadmoor.” So cute. Also treats and water and food bowl are provided along with a dog bed. Are pup enjoyed the walk around the lake and looking at the swans (and eating swan poop). Best stay he’s ever had.

When we arrived and I doublechecked if our dog was welcome the response was "absolutely!" We spent a lovely afternoon walking the grounds, hotel, shops and treated ourselves to drinks and desserts on the veranda enjoying the mountain view. Our dog was given a bowl of water and attention from the staff. It is wonderful that such a beautiful place welcomes dogs. Next time we are in COS we will stay at the hotel.

Stayed one night this August, very welcoming for dogs. Our boys enjoyed the beds and balcony. Lakeside view and higher floor gave them a view of all the activity on the grounds. Added bonus was proper room service for the humans to allow continued social distancing.
