Some friends and I were taking a road trip and originally planned to take dogs, but ended up leaving them with a pet sitter. The Lodge was fun. Reminded me of a hunting/fishing cabin. Clean, roomy. I especially liked the full size kitchen sink. Bathroom was a little small and could use an upgrade, but it worked. The BBQ restaurant next door was very good. I would stay there again.

Yes they do allow dogs at no extra cost, but you could pay in the long run. Dogs got fleas and of course our home got fleas, and guess what NO RESPONSE FROM OWNERS. If your going to open a place, it should be CLEAN. We didn’t even complain about how the room was, but when my dogs get fleas, THAT'S A PROBLEM.

Spacious room, comfortable bed, nice view. Be sure to bring a quarter to buy a treat for a friendly black cat in the breakfast room. Good space to walk our dogs.
