We made a reservation and notified them we had two dogs. The next morning they called us because we had dogs on the incorrect floor and we had to move to another floor which is the one designated to guests with pets. We had to cancel our family activities that morning because they said we had to go back to the hotel to do the change immediately. This floor smelled like smoke and the room has serious drainage issues. The bathtub was dirty and had mold.
The next day they called that the dog was barking and that I had to go back and stay in the hotel to make sure the dog didn’t bark or take her out of the room, which once again incurred to cancel my family activities for that day. I decided to checkout earlier to stop the bad service we were receiving since the receptionists were very rough, but also noticed that there were two more rooms with dogs barking constantly. That didn’t bother me because I completely understand the floor was designated to guests with pets, but totally feel that the situation was unfair.

It's worth the extra cost to pay the $25 pet fee. The room was quiet, clean and very comfortable. Good doggie areas. Free breakfast was better than most hotels. Would definitely stay here again.

Our 2 room keys never worked while we were there, even after talking to the hotel staff 3 times. The refrigerator wasn’t plugged in when we arrived. The outdoor property was littered with garbage. The toilet seat was super low, making it really hard to sit down and get up. We brought it to the attention of management, and they said that all of their toilets were that short. We had to leave after one night because our RV’s emergency repairs were completed earlier than expected. I understand that it was a nonrefundable room but we fully intended to be there for the three nights and did not expect our RV to be done so quickly. My husband tried the breakfast and said it was horrible! Powdered eggs and really watery Waffle mix. He ended up not eating it at all.

Fantastic location everything u need is next to hotel. Not much area for dogs to walk but there is a fantastic dog park 5 miles away so I just took the dog there. However, every La Quinta I have went to the beds are uncomfortable me and so are pillows.

One of the best dog friendly hotels I have stayed at for an affordable price! Staff was super friendly, the room was clean, no pet fee up to 2 dogs, and even had a nice breakfast selection!

Maybe current economic conditions require limited staffing and maintenance but this is the second La Quinta stay that featured a great location with a decent room and pleasant staff, but lots of maintenance neglect like drains that didn’t drain, light bulbs that didn’t work, and little support to be seen. We still like them but travel with replacement batteries for televisions and know we may need to avoid using the bath sink and use the bathtub water.

I've stayed here three times this year with my large lab mix Cooper and have been welcomed each time. This place is popular with pet owners too, I always see multiple other dogs around when I'm here. The property is basic but the rooms are large and clean and there is a nice walking path/space next to the hotel to walk the doggos. It's not allowed but I did see a couple different pet owners bring their fur babies into the pool area at night when no one else was using it. I didn't see any dogs swimming in the pool but they enjoyed the fenced-in pool area while the humans used the hot tub. Overall I really appreciate how dog-friendly this hotel is and it seems like it's paying off for them with lots of dog families staying here.

The hotel was in a prime location and easily accessible to all major shopping centers and highways. The room was a nice size. However, we wish there was a room option with beds bigger than a double when you have a pet. Also, our room smelled really bad like pet urine. We had to go and buy febreeze to spray multiple times a day to try and combat the smell. The front desk staff was great and super sweet!

We are very pleased with La Quinta Inn Regency Park. They were very accommodating. Very clean property and rooms. Staff were very helpful. My wife was going through a critical medical treatment. They provided us with a very early check-in to accommodate her procedures and very helpful with stay extensions. BringFido was on the mark with LQ's dog policies. We have two well-behaved girls, 65 lbs each. No issues what-so-ever with the hotel accepting our dogs.

The hotel was updated but not as clean as I’d liked. The dog walk area was filled with trash litter and debris. But right next-door there was a good place with grass to walk the dogs. Also, nice quite area to walk in the sidewalks.

I stay here all the time when I visit family. It’s in a great location next to everything. The rooms are decorated nice and the beds comfy. I also love that I can bring my dog. Before covid I loved their breakfast.

The room was very nice and the location close to amenities. Unfortunately, several other guests were quite seedy. Trash and shopping carts littered the grounds. The car stereo music concert in the parking lot going past midnight was a bit much.

The hotel was mostly occupied by residentially challenged individuals. Since no smoking is allowed in the rooms, 10-15 people were constantly congregated at the entrances and in the dog walk area to smoke. None of them wore masks and no one was socially distancing. I was afraid to walk my 2 small dogs in the evening. The outside doors was constantly propped open so a key to enter was not necessary.
Our room keys were inefficient. It took 5-6 times of insertion to open the door. (Several homeless men told us we needed to put it in and out real fast). The toilet took 3-6 attempts to flush to empty the bowl. There was no creamer for coffee in the morning (sorry we’re out).
Staff was very nice, but could do nothing to remedy our complaints.
Will never stay here again.

Near shopping and grocery right off the I75 highway. A typical La Quinta, the first floor rooms were all pet friendly... with hard flooring instead of carpet. Good service. Back parking lot was very dark. No grassy area to walk the dog.

This is a lovely hotel. They provide a good buffet breakfast. We usually like to bring our Buddy to breakfast, but dogs are not allowed in the breakfast area. They are also not allowed in the pool area.
