For the most part it was a pleasant night but there were a few of problems with the room. Just to name a few, there was a huge spot on the rug, a light fixture above the desk that didn’t work and poor lighting in the room. In addition, I left some clothing in the bathroom that I forgot and called about but no one returned my call. I’m not sure I would recommend this hotel or if I would stay there again.

The hotel was very run down. The air conditioner unit was broken down and leaking water outside, inside it was the loudest unit I have ever heard. It did cool, though. The room was dirty, the floors had dog hair and dirt on them. The bathroom looked like the tiles were not clean, there was black hair on the bathroom floor. The bed was clean and appeared fresh but if I could have gotten my money back I would have gone somewhere else.

We needed a hotel room close to the canine veterinarian specialist we had an appointment with. This hotel was nearby, and was reasonably priced. The pet fee of $10/pet/night was reasonable, and we had no issues with them accepting our 2 small dogs. We were given a ground floor room near the dog walk area. Poop bags and waste disposal receptacles were provided at the dog walk area. The room was comfortable, and the pups felt quite at home. The only quibble was the full length mirror in the room. The dogs were a little concerned about those other dogs in the mirror looking back at them! :)

This place was beyond horrible. I booked a non-smoking king bed. The room they placed me in reeked of stale cigarette smoke. I complained to the front desk telling them that I could not stay in that room, that I had booked a non-smoking room. He told me that the only other option was two twin beds, but the other guy at the desk told him there was the handicap room that was available so they put us there. What a dump. It reminded me of something I would expect from a cheap motel. I will never stay at any Days Inn ever again, that just was an experience I would never want to repeat.

All the staff was very friendly. The nearby hospital has a pond with ducks you can walk your dog around a little less than half a mile away. The smoke detector was missing from our room but it was clean.

I had to stay here for 9 nights due to a change in my living situation and I really have no complaints about it. There was a nice grassy area to walk to walk my dog and she was allowed to be left alone while I worked. The room was clean and I never felt unsafe!

I made this reservation in September, planning ahead for our trip, and when we arrived we found out that the La Quinta is now a Days Inn - a very old, outdated, tired and not so clean Days Inn. We had already pre-paid so there was nothing we could do. The clerk told us the rooms have been updated. That was an overstatement. The bathrooms hadn't been and other than clean towels, they were in very sad shape.
After driving all day, we didn't have the energy to deal with it, so we didn't. Wyndham should have closed this hotel and did a real renovation before putting their name on it. And it would have been very helpful for us to know about this change before we arrived so we could have changed our plan. - JohnOct 29, 2019Great location

Hotel was nothing special... rooms felt damp and were a bit smelly. I guess that’s the carpet and all the pets that have been through there. The beds were clean and the water was hot. It did the trick for what we needed but probably wouldn’t stay again.
They have a brand new La Quinta right in front that allows pets, it is more expensive but I would have paid for if I knew it existed.
