Resort is great however a little disappointed in being placed in a room at very end of property next to garbage/trash dumpsters due to fact of having our fur baby with us. Felt like we were nickeled and dime at every turn. Cleanliness of the room could be better. In order to keep our fur baby with us during the day needed to rent bungalow at $200 per day. We would return but with eyes open this time.

Dog park was great. The only negative would be they don’t allow the pets to be left alone in room. Thankfully, there are many restaurants with outdoor seating to bring a dog.

A stunning property right on the ocean! A dog park for your puppy and several grassy areas! Tropical view rooms only are pet friendly and boost a refrigerator, coffeemaker, and a large screen porch! Rooms are beautiful, no stairs and parking is right outside your room! Parking for Boat Trailers and close to several great restaurants and brew pubs! They have two pools and lots of water toys and bikes for use! A real relaxing luxury island feel to this property!

We had a great time here. The room was nice and so was the resort in general. Main complaint was having no nearby grass for potty time. You have to leave the resort to find some yards with some semblance of grass. I suggest sorting that out right away. The dog park was convenient and a great way to burn off some energy for my herding dog!

A lot of places say they’re dog friendly, but the Islander truly is. Our GSD is welcome almost everywhere at the resort, and the staff is so friendly and inviting. DF rooms are perfect for pups (tile), and pups are even welcome on the beach. So nice to feel that our pet is not just tolerated, but welcomed!

Beautiful resort with lots to do. Our pup Trixie loved running on the beach and there is even a fenced dog run close to the resort entrance. The room was clean and comfortable, and also very quiet. The dog friendly rooms are furthest from the available activities, but that didn't bother us. We will definitely be back!

We have two big Rottweilers, both very sweet and energetic. It’s hard to find places that are welcoming to them given their breed and size, but this resort could not be more different! We have not only been welcomed with open arms, but the staff here have gone out of their way to be kind to our pups. Tom, Tony, Laura, and Chris went out of their way to make our stay more special, and the water bowls overflowed with nice cold water for our pups. They even took the time to bring our kiddos a tennis ball to play with on the beach. Truly do not have enough great things to say about this resort....and especially at a flat $75 pet fee! Thank you each!
