Large, clean room. I found the bed to be very comfortable, but my wife was so-so on it. Good location. Pet fee was only $20. I would stay here again for sure.

We booked this hotel during the holidays for a quick 2 night stay while in town visiting our families (we are from this area). Check-in was smooth, the room was clean, but definitely had the smell of previous dogs. Our dogs were on edge the second we got to the room, as the neighboring room had their TV on full blast, were yelling and laughing extremely loudly and constantly slamming doors. Our dogs are not barkers, and very well behaved, even in unfamiliar places they are great. We were kept awake all night with the noise from next door, but got an early start to run some errands around town, and left the dogs in the room.
Not even 30 minutes after we left we received a call from the front desk saying the same loud neighbors had called the front desk multiple times complaining my dogs were barking the entire time we were gone. I came back to the room and stood at the door for a few minutes listening, even knocked on the door, no barking. I also had a camera set up in the room to watch the dogs and played it back the entire time we were gone and my dogs whimpered once when we left and barked 5 minutes after we left, when you could hear the neighbors screaming and slamming a door again. After that they both were sleeping on the floor.
So the noisy neighbors lied, I went to the front desk to talk to them and apologize for the "barking" but told them I had a camera in there and that in fact was not the truth, and they said "Well, your neighbors complained so we have to go off of what they said" even with video proof they didn't care. Needless to say we were not happy about the false complaints and being dismissed by the front desk. So we packed up and left a day early, losing an entire night that was non-refundable. Not to mention myself and my boyfriend were coughing the entire time we were in our room and I found black mold in the shower on the ceiling as we were packing up. For the most part the hotel was nice, but the neighbors and staff were dismissive - ruined the stay for us.

Hotel was in a great location, clean, quiet and had lots of places to walk your dog. Only complaint is people don't clean up after their dogs! Please be responsible dog owners and don't ruin it for the rest of us!

PROS: the hotel, room, and halls were clean and smelled clean. you could not tell that most of the floor had dogs in the rooms, due to the quietness. The room was very spacious, which allowed us to have our puppy's crate and space for her to run around and play.
CONS: i did find 2 little black roaches in the bathroom over night. I wasn't crazy about it, but I wasn't too concerned since we were by the back door and outside there were lots of trees and shrubs.

I stayed here about ten years ago and was pleased. I'm glad to see it is still just as good. I read some reviews about it being a little run down, but my room was just fine. Laminate floors, relatively quiet, comfy bed. I would stay here again if I ever needed to.

expected 1st floor because of dogs got 4th floor. Elevator broken. No breakfast buffet given brown bag with juice, muffin, juice. Back entrance full of garbage and smokers. I have stayed at this hotel before and was satisfied.

The location of this hotel was great. It wasn't on a main road, nicely tucked away.. But the main road was very close and there were a bunch of great restaurants and fast food joints for those in a rush. We were there for a baseball tournament, so we were constantly on the go and it was awesome.. The hotel was very nice and there was plenty of room to walk the dog... The room itself was one of the biggest we've had in all the dog friendly hotels we've stayed at so far. It was also just a 40 minute drive to Disney, so we made an impromptu visit to Disney Springs.. So the entire experience was awesome. I'll definitely stay there again.

The room was great - no carpet, so perfect from that standpoint. I did not love the people smoking at the doorway - being close to the doorway was great for letting the pup out, but there were people smoking right at the doorway - even leaning on the door - each night. Not sure we'd stay there again. Could even smell the smoke from our room, in a non-smoking hotel.

Upon arriving at the La Quinta Inn in Lake Mary, FL, we were impressed by the niceness of the facility both inside and out. I loved the fact that dog owners and their dogs were located on the 1st floor and the rooms had solid floors, no carpet. There was adequate parking and check in was easy. The free breakfast was very good and many options to choose from. The downside to our visit was the king bed. Sadly, my side of the bed was collapsed and sagging and I could hear the bed support frame every time I moved. I would stay again with the hope that I get a comfy bed.
