This hotel absolutely buys reviews. They have roaches and try to hide it. Look through the reviews and you’ll see others have told them about their roaches and they ignored it. I wish I would of read reviews before staying. The hotel should be shut down. I arrived and the general manager and manager were arguing so loud I could hear them in the lobby. I waited at least 5 minutes before saying hello to get checked in. The lady manager came out and checked me into room 128. I went in and the room had a horrible musty smell. The whole hotel is outdated but the rooms are the worst.
I take a shower and the water has a weird smell to it. If you’ve ever smelled dirt that’s the smell of the water. After taking a shower I ordered pizza. It was starting to get dark out. The pizza comes and I get a slice and close the box on the desk. I go back for a second piece and a roach runs out of the box and back behind the desk. I look to see where he went to take a picture and another runs up the wall. They are coming out all around the desk to get to my pizza. It was like a horror movie. I grabbed the pizza and ran outside with it to the garbage. I packed up my things as fast as I could forgetting my bathroom things (shower gel, razor and body scrub) also my phone charger. I put everything in my car and go to the front desk to show the pictures I took.
The front desk clerk is new and very nice. She comes with me to the room and we pull out the desk. She’s horrified as well. There are roach eggs and dead roaches all under the desk. I’m videoing all of this with her in it. She said she has an emergency number the manager gave her if someone finds roaches and she’s calling it right away. I leave and ask her to have the manager call me right away. I slept in my car and I’m waiting to get a call but I get nothing. I finally call the hotel and the manager answers. I tell her what happened and she says the notes from the desk clerk say she didn’t see any roaches.
I tell her I have video of the clerk and I when we pulled out the desk. She says she’ll call me back. She never does and when I contact corporate she lies and says they inspected the room and there’s no roaches. The amount of roaches that came out made it clear this hotel is infected with them. I travel for a living and I’m in hotel about 200 days a year. I’ve never experienced anything like this. Roaches carry diseases and this hotel is hiding that they have them.
