  My room was disgusting. Sheets had unknown substance, cockroaches dead on floor, shower was dirty, floors dirty and sticky, bed covers had black dirt in crevices. I have pictures but management did nothing and will not refund me.

  The room was clean and nice but the bed was very uncomfortable. We could hear people talking, running, and doors slamming all night in the hallway. Not the best experience for the price we paid.

  Dirty carpet, mushy bed, spent about 8 hrs there and had to pay $170. Would not recommend unless desperate.

  Pleasant Surprise

  Great location. Very nice suite which was large. Friendly staff. Close to the college in Dalton, so there was plenty of places to walk or play with your dog.

  Great Location, Clean

  This was a great stop before Chattanooga coming up from Florida. The hotel was clean and updated. There were lots of food and gas options. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was that we were put on the second floor which made it difficult to take our dog out to do his business. I walked around the whole property and saw others doing the same and I didn’t see a designated area for dogs outside, maybe I missed it. There was a green space between the hotel and the business next door. The hotel and staff were pet friendly and there was a sign you could put on the door if your pet was inside the room for housekeeping. Overall a great stay!

  Clean room, comfortable bed, and quiet. Plenty of room for our medium-sized dog and his bed. No frills. Nice breakfast buffet with plenty of choices. Rate was reasonable compared to other hotels in that area with similar accommodations.

  Our room was spotless! Hotel was recently renovated so it was like staying at a new one. The employees went out of their way to help us. Some green space to walk your dog and bags doggie waste bags provided outside. We decided to stay at same hotel on the way back home too.

  Pleasant surprise

  Best Best Western experience I have had over many years of travel. Stopped using this hotel chain several years ago due to horrible lodging experiences -- unclean, run down. Was hesitant this time but relied on BringFido's reviews. Glad I did. Perhaps it is because this is not a regular Best Western but is a Best Western Plus, but this was far and above better lodging and hospitality. Great front desk personnel, very nice extra touches and most importantly to me very clean room/bathroom and common areas. Thank you BringFido you made the entire booking process easy from start to finish!

  Great hotel with or without a pet!

  The hotel is very clean and up to date. Staff loves pets and you really feel welcomed. We had to wait in the lobby for 20 minutes for our room to be ready. Koda, our large dog, sat with us. All the staff stopped to say hello to him!

  Great staff, quiet location, extremely clean rooms and a fantastic area for pet relief. Might be lacking in nearby eating establishments, but we used a food delivery service to easily overcome that. We will be back.

  The dog area has bags and is right out the doors. There is a walking path really close to south which is nice. New ownership (Best Western) seems to be ignoring repairs. Door handle was broken and toilet handle needed repair.

  We loved the hotel was very close to the interstate and easy to get to. The room was beautiful and the breakfast was nice. it was a little louder than I expected as it was so close to the Interstate. Overall it was wonderful, lots of grass and trees for my dog. The staff was very accommodating!💕

  Not sure where she went, but missing constantly. Once, was outside for a smoke. Not friendly. Morning crew was much friendlier. Beds are too high for handicapped people.

  We travel with a black lab and always stay at La Quinta. This one was particularly perfect - lots of well-behaved dogs, great facilities, easy access to I75, and parking lot and grounds very well lit. The woman working when we checked in was the only one working and the hotel was sold out - she was great. We will definitely stay here again.

  We stopped here on the way to Florida from Illinois It was nice and clean. Plenty of places to walk your dog around Dalton State campus. We will be staying here again!

  The room was great. Looked newer, nice carpeting, bathroom, etc. It smelled good too. Even though we had a dog it didn’t smell like any dogs had ever been there. Decent rate and great nights sleep!

  All staff was very dog friendly and helpful. Dalton State College is across the road a bit. And there’s a great hiking trail 1/2 block at the college and a great walking trail around tennis courts that are both dog friendly! Breakfast was good also.

  Front desk snafu

  We booked 2 identical rooms, received our confirmation and assumed we were all set. WRONG! When we arrived we were told we had reservations for only one room, but there was an available room if we paid for it. Having no other options we paid for the 2nd room (at a higher price). When it came time to check out we found we now mysteriously had three rooms. After explaining what had happened on arrival we were told it was a clerical mistake on their part and they would reverse the additional room charge. After a week we are still sitting on the charges for three room. On a positive note, the rooms we actually used were nice and very clean.

  Okay stay for one night

  We stayed at another La Quinta on this trip and this one was lacking in comparison. The room was small, felt like there was residue on most items, and the hallways were loud. Breakfast was okay and there was a nice grass area. The outside though had construction so the parking situation was horrible, and the pool was drained. Good for a single night stay on a long trip.

  Easy to get to

  The ease of getting on and off the highway made this location a good deal. There were many areas to walk the dog, poop bags were provided. As with most hotels the first floor is for pets so it was busy. The room was comfortable, there is carpet so do beware there was a lingering odor in the room we were assigned you might have one too. The hotel was being patched and painted and the pool was not open.

  Great to be welcomed with 3 pets (most hotels seem to have a 2 pet limit). We had 2 medium size dogs and a cat, and the room was just perfect. Would stay again.

  My husband and I travel with out two big dogs. There was not problem when we checked-in with our dogs, the room was clean and spacious. No odors or spots in the carpet, not a fan of carpet, but it was clean. No complains about the beds and bathroom. There were two green areas, one on each side of the hotel, both areas were well-maintained.

  Very dog friendly location. Remodeling their pet rooms at the this time, so we had a regular room (carpet instead of tile). It wasn't an issue for us but just know that if you may have concerns.

  Room was clean. Lots of other travelers with their dogs. Dalton State College is right across the street making for a wonderful spot to walk and unwind. Staff was welcoming and cheerful. Will definitely stay again.

  Easy location next to I-75.

  Right next to I-75, but room was quiet. Hotel has a ground floor wing where they accommodate pets. Pet area did not have a bag dispenser, that's why I gave it 4 bones. Close to a college, so the nearby street had sidewalks and was well lit for dog walking. I would stay there again.

  Lots of pets!

  We stayed here on a trip home to FL from up north. We’d never stayed at a La Quinta before. It’s almost exactly like a Hampton Inn, but with pets. Room and shower was clean and didn’t smell like dogs or such. The hotel backs on to the highway, but we were on the front side and heard no traffic.

  The check in was friendly and we were on the first floor with a lot of other. There is not a lot of room to walk on grass on the property. They do have a spot with a bench and a roll of doggie bags. We walked next door around a vacant building (maybe not vacant, but no cars in the lot when we were there).

  The hotel parking circles the building so you can drive all the way around ). We were pulling a trailer so this mattered to us.

  Free breakfast but no pets allowed in the eating area.

  All in all, a pleasant experience.

  I will say this was the best hotel we stayed at in our travels from Nevada! Super clean and great for the dogs! Rooms are huge and beds are super comfy. Our dogs loved the grassy areas. Nice friendly staff! Thank you Laquinta!

  Booking room easy, Zach very helpful & friendly. Came in late, everything ready. No pet fee great, good rates, clean room, (thx ladies), morning chkout easy, nice lady, treats for dog. One note to breakfast staff, watch the tables, went to 3, then wiped off myself, Still will stay again. Plus, only nice place pet friendly!
