The Ayers hotel in Carlsbad/Vista is a beautiful new hotel with excellent service. The room was large and adjacent to the exit doors on the second floor, making it easy to bring our dog in and out. The dog relieving area was quite small, but there were more open areas across the access driveway. All in all, we will definitely stay here again.

The staff at Ayers Hotel Vista Carlsbad was so friendly towards our dog. There is a potty area with bags and a great dog park a mile away.

Immediately upon walking through the front door, the staff was so friendly and helpful. We came for two nights with our two (older) Labrador Retrievers. We were given a room on the first floor which was clean and very spacious. Both dogs had no problem there and this was their first time (ours too) at a dog friendly hotel. The relieving area outside for the dogs was very small; my dogs relieve on command wherever I ask, so it was not a problem for me, but could be for some pups. The hotel was a very nice property with a lovely area for morning breakfast/evening drinks inside; or outside seating which was really beautiful and you could bring your dogs to this area with you. The complimentary breakfast was superior to any I've had at other hotels over many years. Many choices of breakfast items, as well as excellent waffles, and a chef who cooked made to order omelettes (with at least 8 items to choose from to add). Great staff, excellent food, perfect location, and the prices to stay were reasonable. We would definitely stay at the Ayres Hotel Vista Carlsbad again.

We didn’t bring our dog. But it’s a beautiful place to stay. Had a very nice complementary breakfast. We will definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at Ayres Hotel. We stayed here for three nights with our two pups while packing up our home prior to our move to Tennessee. The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. I love that the sink is separate from the shower and toilet. There is a huge soaking tub/shower combination. The water pressure was a bit weak but that is my only complaint. The complimentary breakfast includes made-to-order omelettes (which I highly recommend versus the scrambled eggs), bacon, sausage, oatmeal, yogurt, cereal, fruit, bagels, muffins, waffles. There is a water station and complimentary Keurig coffee maker in the lobby. The hotel is fairly new and the area is very safe. I would definitely stay here again.

we have a big German Shepherd and he was comfortable. Even if you have a a couple of Great Dane's, i think they would be comfortable. We brought our own Doggy Bed.
