  Great Service!

  My husband and I are just passing through to Oregon, so we only stayed for one night, but we’d be happy to stay for a week! We got the standard king size room, which was perfect for our cats, but big dog owners, beware: the room is a little small, and you’ll trip over your dog. All pet friendly rooms are on the 1st floor, which makes getting in and out of the hotel a breeze. The room was clean, the bed was comfy, and the breakfast was great! the service was awesome, and everyone was so nice! Would absolutely stay here again!

  The bed had a metal part poking out which I tripped on and hurt my leg. The manager was unconcerned.

  Worst La Quinta ever

  Curtains falling off the windows, stains in bed sheets. The heater made so much noise I got out of bed at 4:00 am and left. Told them at the desk but no apology. Coffee in lobby cold. Hallways very dirty.

  Pretty good

  We used to love La Quinta but they are less dog friendly now that Wyndham bought them out. They charge a pretty outrageous pet fee. The staff at this location is great, the facilities are OK but a little run down. The carpets all need cleaning and the hot tub is not very hot. Breakfast is pretty good and the coffee is always hot.

  Nice place to stay

  Stayed here on night and it was a good place to stay. Rooms were clean and there is lots of grass for your dog to do his/her business. Lots of dogs at this place. I would stay there again.

  La Quinta Airport, Boise, ID

  Stayed twice (first and last night of a 7-day trip), and both times the check-in and service was OUTSTANDING! The pet area is wonderful -- lots of space and sniffs for puppers. The beds are some of the most comfortable of any hotel I've stayed in...ever! I'd definitely stay here again. Excellent!

  Great atmosphere

  The rooms seemed pretty solid, as in sound proof. We didn’t hear any noises, which made it so my dogs settled easier and faster without barking. There was a door right next to our room that led out to the green grass area for the dogs with doggie bags. The lights lit up as you walked so I could see. The continental breakfast was decent too.

  The room smelled like stale cigarette smoke and the beds were hard. The area for the dogs were fine and the breakfast was good. Was OK for one night. Definitely prefer the other La Quinta in Boise.

  Not great neighborhood

  It was not in a great neighborhood, nervous walking the dogs after dark. Staff was extremely friendly.
  My pillows smelled of smoke and many people smoking right at the entrance. Hallway was noisy. I am not a coffee drinker and there was no black tea or hot water available at breakfast.

  Dog Happy in Boise

  We were so lucky to get a first floor room; easier to take the puppy out in case of an emergency. Great room and staff was very accommodating.

  We can count on La Quinta

  Good location for an overnight stay. We can always count on La Quintas to be consistent. I just wish we could count on other dog owners to clean up after their dogs use the lawn.

  This was bad

  After driving for 12 hours, I was hoping for a good stay with the doggo at this place. The front desk was certainly friendly, but the hotel was bad. What a run down mess. The rugs are absolutely disgusting and need to be ripped out and burned to save the planet. The room seemed to have been cleaned with a used toilet brush. They didn’t use the toilet brush in this room, since the toilet wasn’t clean. However, they did leave black hairs all over the bathroom. The bed was not comfortable at all, maybe due to the sheets feeling like they still had soap in them from the last cleaning. Hard to believe that this dump cost over $179 a night. If it had cost $50, I wouldn’t say anything. Just a bad deal for me and my doggo.

  Typical La Quinta with the standard amenities. Small grassy walking area in back. So-so location with no eateries conveniently nearby, but several pizza chains deliver there.

  Needs a Makeover

  This hotel is really shabby and dirty. We had to try three rooms to get room keys to work. Staff were helpful in doing that, but it was a hassle. Linens old and dirty; friend slept on top of bed to avoid. Also, there is nowhere to walk your dog. Definitely would not use again.

  Clean and quiet

  They lost our reservation, but gave us a room at the BringFido rates because I had a printout of the reservation with a confirmation number on it. One small grassy area in front and one small weedy area in back to walk dogs. Breakfast was pretty good- eggs, sausage, cereal, waffles, etc, but dining area was small.

  Bring cleaning supplies

  Over $200 a night and the room and property were filthy. Staff was very helpful and courteous. We were allowed another equally filthy room. Upside was the large dog friendly park within walking distance. Probably won't be back.

  Pet grass area is ok. Hallways and stairs dirty, needs a deep clean. Upholstery dirty, needs shampooing. All the hand sanitizer stations empty. No attendant so Coffee empty. Hoarding of rationed food. Do not think they like pets.

  Price and location good, pet accommodations so-so

  Placed on 2nd floor due to not knowing I was bringing dogs. Side entry door takes you out to a grassy area for pets to use, but every night the water came on and made the path to it a muddy mess. I walked around, but others did not, so we walked on muddy mats and stairs back to room. The area for pets around the back faces peoples rooms. I did not want them to have to watch my dogs poopin on the grass. The rooms are not well insulated, so i could hear my neighbors way too well, and with that, my new pup wanted to bark at every loud noise. So sleep was not in the cards for me. Not blaming la quinta for everything... just know that for pet friendly and no extra charge, you may not get exactly what you are after.

  My lumpy looking bed, ended up being very comfortable. Nice room, breakfast good. My 2 big dogs were welcomed, I’m happy! Oh, & my shower was awesome.

  Dogs barked at everything!

  Worst stay at a La Quinta ever!!! The beds were so hard that I think I would have been better off sleeping on a pile of bricks! They didnt have a king room so we had to go with two queens and all Scott and I did last night was toss and turn. When I finally did get to sleep I woke up with a backache from hell! The people above us were so heavy footed it sounded like elephants walking on the ceiling. The dogs barked at every sound including the cleaning staff that were standing out in the hallway outside our room talking very loudly. Ugh, no sleep is going to make for a very long days drive. If you're ever in Boise, ID do yourself a huge favor dont stay at the La Quinta Inn at the Boise Airport!

  Nice pet relief areas with bags, friendly staff, and it was convenient to be on the first floor with 2 pets. Would def recommend when driving through Boise.

  Fine Hotel

  Nothing fancy or over the top, but it was clean and there was a nice pet area. They didn’t go out of their way to accommodate people traveling with pets (in my opinion), but they were friendly. Walls here are pretty thin so we could hear a lot of our neighbors (whose dogs were a little more vocal!). I would stay here again though.

  Super easy!

  We only stayed overnight on a road trip but it was one of the easier spots to take our cat. Check-in was a breeze and we had no issues.

  Although the room seemed a bit run down it was clean, the hotel was beautiful and the grassy area outside around the hotel as a pet area was great. Best of all the hospitality and kindness to my puppy was wonderful

  nice staff, they even had poop bags, just wish the other dog owners would have used them. And there was a partially eaten piece of pizza left in the room in a corner, so not as clean as it could have been, but they take giant breeds.

  Friendly staff, easy location off the highway for a quick stop but guests are loud, room was dirty and the pet areas were covered with other dogs “presents”.

  First time staying at a pet friendly hotel with my dog and it was way better than expected. There was no indication of other pets having stayed as far as smell and cleanliness. Great staff. Good location.

  Great but...

  The area had great parks near by. The room was clean. The staff was pleasant and friendly. My one complaint was my room was on the first floor right by the pool so it was quite loud in our room. I was only there for 2 nights so it wasn’t worth the change of rooms. Otherwise, we loved Boise a lot.

  Better than the La Quinta in Caldwell. Newer and cleaner. And 5 minutes from the airport and downtown. Will stay there again. No pet fee and no hassle either.

  Traveled to the eastern Oregon/western Idaho area helping a friend move. We traveled with a dog. Rooms were comfortable. Check-in staff a little distracted. Took 3 tries and visits back to front desk to get card key to work for one room. At checkout, the young man who had the graveyard shift, and was still there an hour after his shift ended as his relief had not arrived, was amazingly helpful and patient. We were traveling with a senior gentleman whose patience was non existent. This young man answered my questions, let me check the senior’s room to make sure he left nothing (I paid for the room), and was the nicest fellow. He should get a raise. The hotel had a pizza place a block away, as well as a convenience store. Airport shuttle available.
  I use BringFido whenever traveling with a pet. Great app.
